I would love love love to talk to other pagans! I started a forum, currently on a forum hosting website, hoping to buy a domain name! But I have a feeling I'm not gonna get many members which is a bummer.

I'd love to arrange a group to meet up. Dancing Moon a full moon gathering sounds amazing what do you do?

I teach Nia and PIlates at a beautiful yoga studio that has a beautiful view of the lake. Me and yoga instructor I work with (who is great). Arrange them. We think about the intent and the meaning of the full moon for the month, I usually say a few words about the moon based on aboriginal teachings but we also talk about what astrological sign the moon is in etc.We also focus on movement and dance as form of prayer or expression, exploration etc. we set a focus and intent. We try to be very wide range so that something can appeal to everyone. We do not judge and are very loving. We light candles, and have a meditation opening, then we put on some great music, and we start with eyes closed to ground and be comfortable, when we start movement we have to open our eyes(to avoid injury!) everyone is in a different stage but we are all free in the movements and the energy we feel with each other and with the moon is beautiful. We allow a long time for cool down coming down in your own body's way, we meditate then come back into a circle and share and kinda just go with the flow. It is truly beautiful. and when we get nicer weather we would like to start doing them outside and also doing solstice dances outside around a fire. It is very free and very liberating. I reccommend ot to everyone!

have you all gone into hiding again? I was very into wicca when I was younger and have since kind of lost my belief in everything and thought id come back to this. it would be nice to talk but no one really posts in the pagan forums.

I wish Wiccan wasn't associated with paganism.

i think we've all been out enjoying nature :)

on a side note - if wicca should not be associated with paganism, then where does it belong? a witch is a pagan, but a pagan is not always a witch ;)

    Hello!

I'm deep into occult for about 20 years. I do tarot, numerology and radiesthesy and have a strong interest in astrology since pretty much the beginning. I'm also a Luciferian and keep studying black arts. At the moment I'm reading a lot about necromancy and the cult of Horus, both subjects are absolutely fascinating. Otherwise, I like to use the power of gemstones in my daily practice of yoga and meditation and read everything I can about the use of entheogens for ritual and spiritual practice.

That's pretty much it, I think.

I would bet that the definition of pagan on this forum is as vague as hipster or hippie.

lol! You know what they say if you ask a dozen witches(or pagans, or Wiccans or..) for their opinion, you'll get thirteen different answers!

Neo-paganism is a very eclectic movement which groups several different practices, most being pre-christian religions or modern versions of those cults (Wicca, Druidism, Egyptian magick, etc.). Several fall in the "pagan" category by default, because it's the closest recognized movement to these belief systems (Satanism, for a quick example). Being a non-organized, dogma-free religion, it's hard to define exactly what is paganism and what is a pagan.

i always thought that 'satanism' should be grouped with the abrahamic religions, since they are the only ones who believe in satan.
as such, it would not be pagan.

this does not really apply to some satanists, since they believe in no god(s)
    .....while some are actually nihilists......
    diversity...ain't it grand?

After several discussions with a few close satanists, I got to understand that they tend to see Satan and other related entities as angels, or gods, instead of demons. They consider demons have both good and bad sides, and their role as essential in the maintenance of our universe's balance. They seemed to have values and ways to see the world close to paganism so I would tend to put them in this category, but there's so many branches in Satanism it may not apply to all of them.
