What is dox like??

I've seen it mentioned heaps about if your blotters are bitter then it is most likely DOX, Can somebody explain what DOX is and what its effects are like??

 

DOx is a family of psychedelic amphetamines, such as; DOC, DOB, DOM, DOI, etc. its effects take longer to kick in than LSD (couple hours) and lasts a lot longer (20-30 hours?)
i think it's less "complete" of a trip than LSD, as it involves visuals mostly.

DOx feels much more intoxicating than LSD, in the sense of making you "drunk". LSD has a kind of crystalline liquid clarity to it. DOx will also give you shivers and make you colder as it decreases blood flow to extremities. They feel completely different, as different from each other as mushrooms and LSD feel. While they are only a subset of the LSD experience they are a significant subset, they can be extremely profound, extremely beautiful, extremely psychedelic. They are also much more toxic than LSD, and while 20 hits of LSD would not kill you, 20 hits of DOx might.

 

It feels like weak LSD, at least in my opinion

They don't all last 20 hours and it does share many similarities with LSD but whichever one I had didnt flow like an LSD trip. The trip was much more sharp and rigid feeling and rigid visually than flowing like LSD but there are a few different DOx as porkstock mentioned, so I imagine effects vary.

is it always bitter or just in some cases??
Because I have had previous blotters that gave me the chills up the spine and taken alot longer to kick in (1.5-2hours)

 

I hear about bromo dragonfly and such.

There are a bunch of things that it could be, and it could be one fo the dox's that we dont have experience with.

but it could also be LSD. i've had blotter take up to 2 hours to kick in

and you think it's DOx? that's stupid. remember how writer said you can OD on it? 1-3 hits of DOx should be plenty. since there's no way to measure the milligrams on a blotter, i wouldn't risk it.

 

5 won't likely kill him, 15 might not either, but it might be unpleasant if it's like DOB or something. I'd eat 10 hits of DOC probably be permafried but :drool5:

 

I don't think its dox becasuse

*it wasn't bitter
* Had the same stuff the weekend before and ate 2 it was fine and had the same effects as previous lsd trips
* the one night where I was getting chills and it took longer to hit, I only ate a 1/2 so that might have contributed to it???

 

DOx will always be bitter (unless they find a way to mask the taste), but some legit LSD tabs are also bitter. Though even the most bitter LSD tabs I've had were not even close to as bitter as the DOx tab I've had.

LSD can make you feel all kinds of bodily things like chills and shivers, but with DOX it's like a common, recurring, inescapable theme. It will be amphetamine-y. 2 hours is still within the time frame of LSD onset so that's also a tough call. I've had LSD that took 3 hours to really get going, and the one time I did DOC I was peaking within like an hour of taking it.

So all those peripheral facts about them kind of overlap and can only serve as suggestions for what you have. They feel very different though, and that will always be my first and last test of blotter; I can tell DOx apart from lucy a mile away, and so can most people.

it can also be an indication that the lsd is adulterated with crystal meth
if it has such a taste discard it, or get a refund, its not pure [quality] lsd

LSD IS NOT cut with crystal meth. no significant dose of meth will fit on a blotter. the bitter taste from LSD blotters comes from either the ink used for the artwork, or possibly a solvent they used to dissolve the crystal LSD

why haven't you eaten a strip of DOC then, writer?

I heard DOC is one of the best DOx (besides DOM), and ordered big quantity of it (1g).

Will write easy trip report in future.

 

I might in the future, I only got 4 tabs of that DOC total, so just have 3 left of that batch.

I haven't done any other Dox but DOC was a very beautiful and complete time for me. I have just got another 100mg of it so look forward to future samplings a gram will last you your whole life haha

 

so are you gonna take those last three blotters at once, or take a dose from the 100 mg that's ~ to a tenstrip?
