2c-e vs. LSD

I often hear 2c-e being compared to LSD, and even being called on the streets "legal LSD" (supposedly), and I'm curious as to just how valid these claims and comparisons are.
What's your experience with 2c-e, and how would you compare it to LSD?

 

They both make you trip hard, but that's the extent of their similarities, imo. I'd say it's just as good as LSD though, for me. High doses of 2ce have made me trip harder and given me more euphoria than any other drug I've ever taken. That's just me though. Other people have different opinions and experiences, regarding 2ce.

As far as visuals go, 2ce is more jittery and electric, while LSD is more crisp and fluid.

2ce is also a MUCH better music enhancer than LSD is, imo.

 

i think they are actually quite similar. all psychedelics are similar to some extent but i think LSD and 2ce are closer, effects wise, than LSD and mushrooms for example.

LSD is way better in my opinion. more of a 'complete' psychedelic, with far less body load.
2ce provides more intense visuals than low-medium doses of LSD, and provides slightly better musical enhancement and CEVs. 2cx chemicals tend to leave your mind relatively unaffected and your ego intact, although i have experienced "mind-fuck" and ego softening on 2ce. LSD alters your thought process much more, and often times is more of a sensory enhancement where 2ce is a sensory "disturbance." but don't get me wrong, the trip from 2ce is beautiful.

I find 2ce a stimulating electric sensory experience but a somber and more 'in my head' mindstate compared to LSD which is a more wacky, unsteady and regressive childlike headspace but is more flowing visually.

I prefer music enhancement on LSD, not only for listening but for playing music as well, LSD is a better aphrodsiac and I prefer the experience by quite a bit but 2ce is a quality psychedelic.

I've taken up to 52 mgs 2ce

 

i prefer lsd, but ive never taken 2c-e higher than ~30mg

 

honestly, nothing i read about high dose 2ce is that intriguing to me. electricity in your eyeballs probably = painful headache for porky:sunny:

so yeah, OP, i've only taken up to 20 mg 2ce, but for me that puts it roughly equal to 2 or 3 hits of standard blotter. as equal as 2ce and LSD can be.

 

The 'electric' feeling that people talk about isn't like being literally zapped. It's like a lil twitch, like how your muscle would contract to being zapped. I guess that's why people say 'electric'. I get them all over my body while on 2c-e. They are very ignorable and not uncomfortable in any way. So the 'electric' feeling in the eyeballs I can prolly guess is more along the lines of the twitchy eye wiggles of mdma because I get that also on 2c-e.

As far as 2c-e being compared to LSD it is like apples and oranges to me. LSD causes finely tuned, high def, crawly visuals while 2c-e causes waving, shifting, swirly type visuals. And the body high is completely different. 2c-e keeps me in a cold sweat with rolling euphoria while lsd has a very clean, conscious body high with pockets of 'energy' generally in my torso sometimes bursting through my limbs. The head high between the two is also way different. LSD being very clear, flowing, open, and logical while 2c-e is a little muddled, alien, silly, strange, almost dark and demented.

 

Not for me. There have been many times when I have actually felt and HEARD the electricity in my eyeballs on 2ce. It's fuckin amazing

very good description. but in this case i'd say that apples (2ce) and oranges (LSD) are still pretty similar, whereas a bananna or a watermelon are pretty diff (mushrooms or maybe DMT)

 

Yeah I'll just be chillin, then I'll suddenly feel/hear a "zap" in my eyeballs, and I sometimes feel the same sensation in the rest of my body. It feels like there's always a milder and more constant type of electricity flowing through the rest of my body, but usually only while I'm lying down and with some music playing, which often results in a very intense electrical euphoria spreading to every part of my body

 

The times i took 2C-E i found music truly boring! I don't really have much more input as most people have done it but 2C-E and LSD affect the minds in different ways so they are a lot different. Can't remember how but i know LSD takes some sort of thought filter off your mind so you can think out of the box, i forget the rest though =(

LSD wins, hands down. It has one of the best body loads, it's great stimulant, euphoria is priceless, music oh god, and raving on it is fabulous.

2C-E, one other hand, make me feel sick, no happy thoughts but more on the dark side, does stimulate but moving is just... ughh, music is really more eh chanced than on LSD but 2C-E having to euphoric push like LSD, listening to music sometimes on 2C-E can be evil task.

 

Anyone who tells you anything is "legal LSD" is not to be trusted, and you should steer clear of them and their drugs.

LSD is like LSD. 2C-E is like 2C-E. They're both psychedelics. Neither is a substitute.

 

Not to get off-topic, but should I invest in some 2C-E eventually, despite already having tons of 2C-I that I enjoy? Is it different enough to merit purchasing? If so, what subtle differences have you noticed.

 

IMO 2C-I is crap in comparison to 2C-E. 2C-I is wayyy too stimulating, even at heroic doses it wasn't very mentally impairing just really really heavy on the body... i spent most of the trip wishing it would end so i'd stop feeling sick, was a good time though.

 

Like Poly said 2c-e is extremely different than 2c-i. I barely find 2c-i psychedelic while 2c-e is very very in your face psychedelic.
