my last recording project was the result of a noisy computer - i recorded several hours of fan noise

now i have a quieter computer

so quiet in fact that this morning, right now, i can hear some sort of faint voices? music? in the corner of the room where the computer sits, perhaps coming from it?

there is no reason why my computer should be singing, i'm not doing anything other than typing right here

it's really quiet, i'm surprised that i can hear it - i wonder if i can get a mic to pick it up?

    [now the fun begins]

I would go with this - i was on a cross chanel ferry from dover to Le Harvre once and the vibrations the ship was making on the window panes was incredible it was like the whole bass section to a techno track at times, plus every time I flush the toilet it sounds like i should record it and yes i am being serious

EVP - Electronic Voice Phenomenon. The dead are trying to come through your computer.

Flushing toilets - isn't one of Joe Meek's hits [cant recall which one] supposed to feature a flushing toilet played backwards ?

BTW - that Alonetone site looks interesting - think I may sign up.
