I love him. Lots of people say he's no good because he isn't really acting in his films, that he really is exactly like all of his charaters. They tend to fail to acknowledge the fact that he's still funny. What do you guys think of him?
I think he's hilarious. I've listened to the commentary on all the films he's been in, he seems intelligent, like he knows exactly what will be funny and why it's funny/ what people will find funny when they watch the film. He's got a really good eye for things that a lot of viewers would never even think of. I remember him talking about the room that James Franco lives in in Pineapple Express. The pictures on the wall in the background and whatnot, he picked out some of them, you don't notice them at all when you watch the movie, but when you hear him explain it/point it out in the commentary it makes it a lot funnier.
I remember him telling a story about when he used to do standup. He started doing standup in Vancouver, Canada when he was 14. He said that when people would heckle him he'd say, "I'm 14 years-old asshole, I'm just a kid." That'd be pretty funny.
