I've done dxm, not a huge amount just 210mg, but i've herd about this dph now, and im considering trying it, because this local corner store i go to, ran out of robo gels, which i use for dxm (i bought the only 2 bottles they had haha) and they rarely stalk up! but they have a shit load of benadryl! which is what you take for dph right? I would like to know what the dph high is like, is it anything like dxm? Also, i know how when you take dxm, you gotta make sure dxm is the only active ingredient in the stuff your taking, so robitussin is the best for that, is it the same with dph? is benadryl the best for it? Thanks
I don't know that that is or is not the chemical in benadryl, but I do know that if it is, it is not a suitable recreational substitute for DXM, at ALL.
Idk why, but DPH doesn't work for me without DXM. (BTW, don't do as I do--DPH was a precursor to modern antidepressants. It inhibits serotonin reuptake, so combined with DXM it's a serotonin syndrome risk.) DPH hasn't done shit for me on its own other than make me tired, even at doses up to 375mg. On the other hand, I get very full blown hallucinations from it when I combine it with DXM.
DPH is just a fucked up sense of reality... everything seems real and it's not good stuff, just fucked up stuff. If you want to do it then just get benadryl. i'd say take like 3-400mg.
What? Pretty fun, and sketchy? These drugs are nothing alike, DXM is a stoned/drunk body load and dissaciociation, this other shit is a painful/uncomfortable body load and schizophrenic style hallucinations. Chemically, using either recreationally is sketchy, as far as what it does to your brain. But I wouldn't expect YOU to know or care about that, mr. "I don't take my lithium because I like DXM". As far as psychedelic worth goes, DXM wins by leaps and bounds. This is like the OTC version of comparing shrooms and datura.
