His brother is gettin married so he's cleanin up for the pictures.

He's got a nice thick one I was thinking about sewing into one of my own. You think that would cause much damage?

I don't know about damage as much as the hygiene issues with sewing someone elses knotted hair into yours?

But maybe I'm juust a weirdo, I have a thing with other peoples hair and teeth.

That's kind of a hmmmm, I dunno type thing. I agree that sewing the dread in might be a hygiene issue...and the added weight might wear on the dread you sew it to.

I wouldn't want to attach a chunk of dead hair to my head.

    The fake blonde's cute.

For those who are REALLY so squeamish about hair and hygiene: Soak it through with isopropanol (rubbing alcohol) for a few minutes, then rinse it out and let it dry. Won't be NOTHING alive or otherwise dangerous in that dread, after that. Unless, of course, he works in a lead refinery ;)

No :D Well.. a bit.. but who gives a shit. It's freakin hair. The small damage you cause by poking a needle into one dread will be stregthened by the new dread getting all close and intimate with it. Geddit? You can either sew it in (looks ugly unless you put a wrap around the join) or use a felting needle (stick it into ebay, get a large one) (might have to do it for a while before it joins, but it'll be a solid join and no one will know :D I put a felt one in one of my dreads and I couldn't pull it out)

    Man up

Word! Prolly just sew it in and throw a wrap on it.

    14 days and I still haven't got it done....cause I'm a lazy bitch.

Ima shoot for this weekend and try to get some pictures. If anything I'm sure some duct tape and staples would do the trick.

You guys ever get your hairs stuck when your laying/sitting in between your back and whatever surface your against, and then try and move your head forward and are violently whiplashed back?
I do it all the time. I feel like it's gonna happen within minutes after that shit gets sewn in and then it's gonna rip out.
