that dating sites don't work for men. If they're working for women, then the only thing I can think of is they're either dating other women, or aliens...
It depends on the sites. Sites like Match.com scam men and advertise way more and way hotter women than they have with fake profile and pictures from the Internet.
That's retarded. Because it sure worked for my ex to cheat on me with..and also for my curent boyfriend to find me I still think it only takes common sense to find a site that isn't a scam.
Eh, depending. Match.com is more guilty of faulty advertising than straight up scamming, to be clear. There are real people on there. Lots've them. There's just a lot of fake women too. I've never heard anyone say that dating sites don't work for men; I was merely speculating as to where they might be coming from.
dating sites can work for men, but like others said, there's a lot more men than women on them and a lot of the women are fake, or disgusting.
I've never looked for women on a dating site so I don't know if they're disgusting or fake looking. It would suck to start really liking a person and they just blow you off because they're like...not real.
source AdultFriendFinder is a whole company based on this practice. Always see chicks stolen from amateur pron sites in their ads.
date sites that work for me, are telephone sites. Able to call, leave messages, greetings and live connect.. In fact I meet my wife on live links..
Really? I never thought that phone lines work. I always see the commercials for Live Links and wonder who calls. That's cool though
I assume many of the guys on dating sites are shy, and that's part of their problem. There are also probably more men than women on dating sites. I have two friends who've met long term girlfriends through online dating sites though. Seems easy enough as long as you keep at it for a little while and aren't a creep. I'm a creep so I've never had any luck.
Personally, I'm against dating sites...mainly because of the "fake" factor...and because I've never really needed to go searching for love...I hate love and I felt much better without it. And I do believe that men are dating aliens...match.com has the #1 alien rating out of all of those dating sites.
I hate love too...and i understand why people have huge walls all around their hearts. I did the match.com thing...i winked at what i thought was a hot chick from Chicago...we exchanged a few emails and each email she was more and more foreign lol...ended up she said she was working temporarily in Africa...i'm thinking Nigeria lol. I thought i would give it a try during one of my many moments of trying to get over an ex. I do keep in touch with a woman from Ohio who is really nice ...we talk on the phone once or twice a week...but i'm not sure it will ever go anywhere...to be honest...i didn't find her to be very attractive...and i hate sounding petty and shallow but...i got my preferences. I agree with an above post...all the hot ones are fake lol.
All the dating sites that are start-up businesses have totally ruined craigslist personals with their fake ads which are spam bots from these websites trying to get you to join them. I had a really bad incident with an online dating site about 6 years ago when the chick I was chatting with turned out to be a man. A man who thought he could convince me to switch-hit with him. The guy was a freak needless to say. I told him everybody in the gay community should do horrible things to him because its people like him who are the reason there's animosity against homosexuals in society. Haven't tried online dating ever sense.
I suppose it wouldn't hurt to give online dating a second chance. This incident was a long time ago and I think it's a good idea to always make sure both parties use a webcam and at least one telephone call before the first date. That could help prevent incidents like that. I think the stigma of online dating predominantly stems from under-aged minors getting caught up with mature perverts.
Good plan. When I met my boyfriend (on okcupid- I drop their name a lot because it is the best site I've ever been on, and I've tried a few) we started talking on the phone right away and sent lots of (non-dirty) pictures from our cell phones. It's a good way to know the person is real and that the worst that could happen is the guy or girl lied about what kind of person they are personality-wise, which people could do whether you met them initially in person or not. It's the risk of dating, period. And that's why dating sites require persons 18 or older.
dating sites work. just not the ones you pay for. there are plenty of free dating sites. it really depends on where you live though.
i assume it's from anyone getting caught up with someone who is not who they claim to be. also the fact that such sites traditionally attract people who are unable to get a date on their own, hence a lot of the members do have some sort of issue. besides hipforums... :toetap05:
