My brother had a huge collection of Atari games that got 'lost' at a storage place (while our house was being rebuilt after a fire)

I had an NES collection going until my brother's friend 'borrowed them' and moved out of state.

I have a few Master System games and a bit of Genesis games, and a few N64 games, but I wouldn't call them a collection and only add to them by happenstance

Bwahaha. I own a copy of Zombies Ate My Neighbors and you'll have to pry it from my cold zombie hands before I get rid of it!

I still play N64. Mario Kart, Golden Eye and Blitz 2000 mostly, sometimes Mario Party. N64 is the only system I've played in years. I've never owned a system past PS2

I never had an SNES, although I used to play one religiously at a friend's house.
Might pick one up one of these days.

I have a sega gamegear. Doesn't turn on. I'd like to fix it, but haven't gotten around to looking to see if I can find what usually would die on them. I would suspect a capacitor or other part of the power supply system. I also haven't tried it on wall power yet. It's got sonic 2 with it, I think...

I have a PS1 from the same dumpster. May or may not work, I think it turns on but i've never tried it with a TV hooked up. Also have a gamecube that may or may not function, it's previous owner told me it did if you leaned it against the av cable in the right way.... Could probably fix it too.

I'd like a NES or SNES.

super nintendo is the shit! I never really got the hang of any consoles that came after it. I am stuck in the nintendo and sega genesis days.

I gave my SNES to my nephew a couple of years ago. Now he has an X-Box and a Wii, and I know he's just a kid but I'm still going to steal back the nintendo next time I'm at his house and I'm not going to feel bad about it at all.

Once I have it back I'm probably going to play Donkey Kong Country for a week straight.

you need Act Raiser I & II.. though I is better.. Lufia 1 & 2(amazing rpg series)... and get a Super Gameboy.. then you can play GB games on your SNES

btw.. Link to the Past is by far my favorite of all time!.. better than Ocarina imho.. and that's saying a lot.. cuz Ocarina is the shit

Man.. i really wish i hadn't hit some hard points in my life.. because i miss my game systems.. i've owned almost every us system between Coleco Vision all the way to Wii.. even owned a Virtual Boy.. actually its easier for me to list what i haven't owned.. NeoGeo.. Jaguar.. PS3.. DS.. DSi.. DS3.. PSP.. Famicom.. never owned a MAME(arcade).. but i do own a Pinball machine.. Whatever you do.. never sell your systems

Anyone else in this thread prefer Genesis?

I feel like they both have great games, but I like Genesis' exclusives better.
I liked Genesis' controllers better too, even though they were horridly ugly.
