Under my arm, near my armpit. Got my step mom to get most of it out with tweezers. I am sure it has been there for a day at least. It looks all red and infected. I wanted to go to the doctors now but she said the only one open now is 20 min away. Idk I am getting paranoid that I am gonna get lyme disease from this bullshit. What do you guys think? Is lyme disease easily curable?? Do they give you good drugs for lyme disease?

you're chances of winning the lottery are only slightly less than having a problem from a tick bite.

The red skin most likely is from the bite itself, not from a bakteria transfer. If so, it would transform into a ring-shaped reddening called bull's eye.

Wait a couple of days and watch ... relax ... and take your time to research.

Best way to safely remove a tick is to spin the damn thing round and round and round till they let go on their own. It really works and no danger of anything stayin in your body. Give it a try, it takes some time but I know it works. Even on animals....;-)
I would put some anti-biotic neo-sporin on the spot....

Where do you live man? Some areas have a lot more infected ticks than others. If it doesn't clear up right away - go see a Dr. Why the fuck would you want to take a chance on lyme disease?

"Do they give you good drugs for lyme disease?"

Here's hoping! You're only going to get good stuff if it gets real bad and then it's too late. Early on mostly antibiotics.

Your chance of getting it is real slim. Are you in an area with deer?

Give it a few weeks-nothing will show up till then.

Its going to be red initially because you just pulled a bugs snout outta your skin

Lyme disease is incurable. Trust me, you'll know within a week if you have it and you'll get antibiotics.

Disinfect the area with alcohol or something just in case there's any infectious bacteria left behind

I've already pulled three off this year, average year several dozen get me. Lots of deer here plus a good size herd of cows real close. You got good advice from all about removing them and then just watching the area around the bite for a few days

Unless it was a deer tick, you're alright. I got bit by a tick on Thursday and it was so weird! My dog's already got them and we were working on cleaning up the backyard so that we can mow and give him medicine and hopefully they'll go away, but I felt something bite me ever so slightly on the side of my torso and when I grabbed at it, I found a tick. We burned it. Haha. But yeah, he didn't get a chance to get embedded, little fucker. Gah, what gross little parasites.

According to a respected authority (I made this shit up) ticks have been found to be re-incarnated polititians. While all are bad, reincarnated republicans and teabaggers are considered especially dangerous. Just so you know...

Whenever I go to Manitoba and walk in the wilderness, I find at least ten ticks on me a day. It isn't a big deal, dude.

Maybe in Manitoba - but in West Virginia it might be a different story.

They don't give you good drugs for Lyme disease, my friend just had it. Gave him some antibiotics that made eating food gross.

If you wait a couple days and it looks infected or develops a red circle around it, go to the doctor, before that, its nothing to worry about. What did the tick look like? ...the ones that give Lyme disease are very very tiny.

I had a tick on my dick last week. It actually hurt less to pull out than one on my arm.
