Hello =) I signed up for the hip fourms a while ago but I forgot my password and all of that good stuff and never really had a chance to say hello. So I created a new account . I live in North Carolina but Im from Florida and have also lived In Mass. I like to think of myself as a hippie ...I dont do Drugs , I dont Drink , I feel the world is beautiful as it is and I dont need substances to change my perspective. Im a freshmen in college , but I have been contemplating my Major . I want to be A set Designer because I like to think of myself as being very creative. But then again I love nature and would love to do something associated with that. I also have a big passion for animals ! Soo Im sort of stuck in the middle. gr. Maybe you guys can throw in some ideas =)

Your totally right , Freedom is everything !! For that fact there is endless possibilites that makes it all the more harder to choose which career path I will head down!! So Far Ive Come up with Set Designer , Open a Organic Resturaunt with Open Mic , Natural Furniture Designs , Childrens Author ...and many many more !!!!

Hey there Sam and welcome as well. I am actually new to the site as of today and looks like this is where my first post will be...I'd feel honored if I were you (im really not that self-centered though lol) I can definitely relate to the undecidedness of picking a major though. I started college in MD for computer science before shortly switching to psychology. From there I decided to move to FL and start my degree to become an Air Traffic Controller. Since then that's kinda been the route Ive been pursuing but who knows what tomorrow will bring. Freedom is a beautiful thing and I would say take all the time in the world but truthfully...we don't have THAT long. Take your time by all means but not so much time to leave yourself stuck in limbo. Thats what your friends, family and even the random posts on here are for...a guiding hand for a friend in need of one.

Welcome!!! don't feel bad about the whole not doing drugs and drinking thing, I don't either I feel that you can do other things to change your perspective like hiking or yoga or even listening to some rad music. I know how you feel about not being able to pick one major I would try out classes in one area and if you don't like it or change your mind later just switch it. If you love nature and animals why not try wildlife biology Peace!
