Before last summer, I took acid for the first time. It was a great experience. It opened my mind. I started to think "outside the box" alot more. I came up with very interesting theories and conclusions. During my trip, I become very interested with it. That I've gotten more the next month.

For some reason, the people I've met that also takes LSD, fools around and have fun. I have no problem with that at all. As long as they're happy and have a good trip right? Well anyways, I'm different and I haven't met another person like me.

What I like to do with acid is study my experiences and see what it can teach me. Hmm, I've got to say that LSD changed my life in such a positive way. I got obsessed with studying after that.

I feel that LSD is a great motivator of the mind and subconscious. But I feel that only a few uses acid for the reasons I use it for.

It would be interesting to see someone else that uses it for studying as well like I do. So we can share our ideas and what we learned from it.

It also gave me an interest to learn languages and study religions. So that one day, I can find out the truth.

    nice to meet you ;)

not sure exactly what you mean about "studying" but i think you will find a lot of people here that share your interest in psychedelics for the same reasons.

Likewise! :D I guess I joined the right place then. :S And studying/observing my past experiences, what I've learned and find a better way of explaining it. I hope that makes sense!

    What porky said.

I'd caution you about the religions. It's all just chemicals in our brain, as LSD has shown you. Don't let it chemically affect your religious beliefs. I think it will likely lead you to agnosticism and the understanding that we can't possibly know more than science, if you don't let it's "spiritual" chemical effects cloud your judgement.

Also, I think you can have a great time and study, learn, grow. If that's what you want to do, that's great. But don't let it swallow your trip or your fun. Remember, there's effective ways, there's awe inspiring ways, but there is no RIGHT way to use LSD.

we might not be able to KNOW more than science, but as a scientist, i'll tell you it doesn't explain the whole picture. i don't doubt that there is some form of "god"

KIN, i like to use psychedelics mostly for self analysis / growth as well, but they sure are fun too! i find that by writing trip reports, it helps me remember the themes from my trip and anything i might have learned from it.
you should write on up the next time you trip.

I've been an Agnostic since 13 years old. I accept others' beliefs, that is how they want to live their life. As long as they're happy. There is no right or wrong in Religion. Though, today most arguments are about religion.

What I wish for is for people to accept one another. There are other things we should be worrying about. Peak oil and global warming.

and yes, I agree with you, there is never a RIGHT way to use LSD.

For sure. I'm just saying that it's bloody silly to speculate in the ways we have, on this creator. It might be possible to conceive a more "scientific" "religion", but it would be nothing like the ones we have, at ALL. And it would still be an exercise in futility.

Trip reports are, for certain, very helpful to the writer as well as the audience. I'd especially suggest writing a detailed one on any difficult (or "bad") trips you have, or at least thinking about them in detail later. It will help you reconcile them and put them to good use. And for fun trips, a report is just reliving (and sharing) the fun :D

(on that note, my best trip ever had some very difficult times, and thinking and writing about them has done more for me than most fun psychedelic experiences. Of course, the fun parts of the trip where great too, and I'm not saying you should have a bad trip. Just that in any successful (that is, emotionally or thoughtfully intense) trip, there's something to learn, or to take away from it, even if it's just a feeling or indescribable understanding)

Anyway, welcome. If you're a cop, you're off to a much better start than those who go asking for sources and saying psychedelics are for fools :D

Are you a mac fan? Just a guess...

Thanks. :D. The Law Enforcement today is horrible. Especially in my town... they only look for stoners. They have nothing better to do. I dislike them... they're getting paid for driving around and they're getting more and more cops...

And I'm not a mac fan. I don't even know what/who that is. Unless you are talking about the Apple Mac.

    Apple macintosh.

Their address is 1 infinite loop.... unless you live next door to them, or it's unrelated :p

Same thing's happening everywhere with LEO's. They're trained to shoot/taze people, find mexicans, and find drugs. What about the CRIMINALS, officer?

And they keep finding MORE drugs, because the harder you look, the more you realize drugs are everywhere. So instead of backing off, the LOGICAL thing to do is hire more cops, and lock up 60% of the population to save the other 40% from open minds

Oh, I never knew their address is 1 infinite loop. I find that funny! Lol and Yes, I am a mac fan. :D
I am using a Apple iMac Core i5. I'm planning to buy the HP TouchSmart 1000z

And the infinite-loop is just from programming alot. :S

And yes, they need to pay attention to the criminals, but all they're doing is busting kids for possession of marijuana... if someone chooses to do any drug, that's their choice and they shouldn't get in trouble for it.
