A new theory about how some ice is made.

    ok i just watched this on tv but, if beer is under the freezing point but didn't freeze, that you hit it and agitate the molecules they kinda, insta-freeze. so can we apply this same method to ice in the seas of the world? like a earthquake near or under a polar cap. mixes the molecules and make them rapidly freeze too?

    that "new theory" is as old as dirt.

    you know what glass is correct?
    most people don't know that glass is a liquid.
    glass may look and feel like a solid, but it's monoclonal structure is liquid.

    yeah, it can be done under water.
    the degrees of kelvin produced or subtracted by motion, would be the main problem in making that happen.
    i quite sure that good old mother nature, has pulled that off a few times on her own with no help from us.

    remember, its not nice to fool mother nature!
