There's hope for everyone. If you were presented with the idea that you should change a certain behaviour you'd at least see the cause of your actions. This is what can bring about change, but you have to decide to change the behaviour. Nothing is going to "reveal" that you're a hopeless asshole. If anything it might be revealed that you should show more love, happiness, and appreciation for those around you.
you should deffinatly try aMT. I find aMT freebase more potent (visually) than lsd. also I like it because it's a really clean and positive mindset. It's a lot easier to handle than any other visual psychedelic, I've never had a bad trip with aMT but I've had tons of bad acid and shrooms trips. oh and not to mention it lasts like 12-18 hours!
I dunno, it did reveal things to me in a more negative light. The positive things were just things that I knew I wanted to be and should work on, but alas I was this thing, at that moment, unable to change instantly. It definitely has to do with you mindset though I assume.
Well, if it does that and makes me feel bad enough about them, then I guess it'll just give me more incentive to work on changeing those things.
If you are revealed to, by your own standards, be an asshole, and it bothers you, it will motivate you greatly to FIX that. Even if you have a horrible time.
Exactly. Its not in a negative light like a bad trip, or that you feel all depressed. Its just a very cold hard perspective. If you are completely happy with yourself, then you probably wouldn't have any problem. But then again, I thought I was happy with myself.
There's been 2 reported deaths due to aMT. What was the dosage you took, and how much would you recommend taking?
You may be thinking of 5-MeO-aMT, which has caused a few deaths. I've never heard of any deaths related to aMT though.
aMT being more visual than LSD? lol amt has virtually zero visuals in my experience and is at best a kind of trippy tryptamine quasi-mdma experience, with lots of potential unpleasant bodily side effects, and virtually zero educational or entheogenic value. That's exactly why it's so addicting to some people, it's not a very deep psychedelic, certainly not compared to mushrooms or LSD. There's a reason you don't have bad trips on aMT, you don't "trip" at all, or you barely do, just the whispers of a trip, not the full shebang like mush or lucy. And it lasts more like 8-12 hours, but I've never taken a high dose of it. Don't want to, it's the wrong tool to raise dose with. "The bamboo that bends it stronger than the oak that resists." I know what you mean man, even my unplanned 15 hits was so friggin "easy" all things considered. It's a very happy, positive, relatively functional trip, compared to the tryptamines. Lucy is probably harder at lower doses.
^^i think it's mostly about set and setting. i know you didn't have the best setting for your 15 hits, writer, but you changed your setting into an appropriate one pretty quickly. if you would have stayed at home, or went to the movies, i'm sure it wouldn't have been so easy. so lower doses in bad settings is probably harder than higher doses in proper ones. all the "higher" doses of L that i've taken (3 or 4 good hits) i've thought something like "there's no way that more would be bad. what was i so nervous about?!"
True, and yet such potential for the unnamable. I will never, ever forget my first mushroom experience, also my first time with a real psychedelic (before I'd only smoked weed and salvia). It took a few years for me to realize that was ++++. Never been there again.
2C-B is definitely easy going as others said as well as LSD and the mix is the most amazing combo ever. But if you are looking to just get your feet wet I recommend a low dose of mushrooms. That is what I started on granted I ate waaaaay too many and tripped for two days I handled it pretty well. Everyone is different though. If you are new to psychedelics just go low your first time and get the feel for it then explore.
^ I don't reccommend low doses ever to beginners. I think slamming your system is the best and perhaps only way to truly appreciate and respect psychedelics from the get go. That ++++ experience is what separates psychedelics from other classes of drugs imo and that is obviously more likely with a higher dosage. That first trip to me should aim to be more of a rite of passage mystical/self exploratory type trip. Then after that if you want to noodle around on half a hit of cid or an ecstasy pill at a Daft Punk concert then whatever.
