Lol why popcorn and soy sauce? Sure popcorn can be better than some snack foods, but it's not so good with butter/salt and in this case soy sauce which is loaded with sodium. Not good for you. I have limited that as well.
Yea lots of salt isn't good for you. But eating pop corn with soy sauce is better than most junk food. I enjoy getting high and eating a Chocolate Power Bar with some fruit-bananas-blueberries. In the summer I'll get high and eat most of a seedless watermelon in a night.
The problem is with growth hormones, antibiotics, and farm raised livestock fed an unnatural diet which affects the nutritional value of the meat and the balance of omega 3 and omega 6 fatty acids which influence the incidence of heart disease.
I find that eating fruits and vegetables for meals doesn't fill me up very much :/ maybe I have to get used to it. I'm already freaking skinny as it is though....
i do, i go to the gym so i have to too keep muscle. tonight it's a baked potato, sweet corn and half a chicken. i eat healthy carbs in the afternoon, and usually have protein filled dinners (a lot of chicken, basically).
You need more protein. If you want to go vegetarian there are lots of protein sources. I only eat fish-a few times a week. I eat a lot of vegetable proteins.
sometimes i def eat healthy. I like fast food a lot, but i dont eat it very much because ALMOST every single time i have in recent years, about 30 minutes or so after i am done eating, i feel slightly nauseous and ill.
Yea I stopped eating fast food years ago (I've been vegetarian-only fish-for over 20 years)-but if you start listening to your body you stop eating it. I only eat a little fried food (it has to be high quality frying) or I don't feel well afterwards. People will get fries in the office from five guys (real greasy) and I'll eat a bite or 2 of them-that's enough. I have only had a few potato chips over the years-do doritos, cheese puffs, etc-I just don't feel well later. I'm amazed at the people that will set and eat a whole bag. Most candy tastes like shit after you stop eating it for awhile (I like good dark chocolate). Eat what makes your body feel good.
I suggest chicken and fish. You're 19-- you're SUPPOSED to be freaking skinny. Most people my age only wish they could share your complaint.
I love fish and chips energy drinks go good with weed. Mc ds and other fast joints taste like shit . Boil ups are good got slow cooked chicken with mushrooms , garlic and onions on the stove i might make a home made pie out of the left overs
I fail at eating healthy when I live on my own. Too expensive and too much effort required. However, when I'm at my mum's house (still 'home' in my heart) she cooks at least four nights a week, and the meals are usually ~60% + shit that we grew/raised ourselves. Or rather, she did.
I try to eat healthy. That's been thrown off lately because of living at a friends ATM, but I still try to as much as possible. I tend to prefer wraps over any other sandwich type food, I love fruit, plain yogurt is the best, and if I miss my veggies in a meal I feel like shit. I was a vegetarian for 2 years, but started eating meat again just because I was starting to feel silly about it and really missed meat.
Vegetarian. I still eat eggs and drink milk though. Not exactly healthy though, if I'm stoned I eat whatever, so long as there's no meat or fish in it.
Actually, when I was a vegetarian, for some reason I developed an allergy to egg whites. Since I started eating meat again, I haven't noticed the allergy at all. I'm still quite picky about my eggs though...
I'm not saying I'm stopping meat altogether, but eating it sparingly. That's what I was saying, but then I realized, it's not that hard to just choose healthy normal stuff that is grown normally cause it's not much effort to wash veggies.
damn i was trying to not eat pasta for a week or two but of course my drunk hungry ass failed last night haha.it was just a little though. today i made jasmine rice alongside some portobello mushrooms, tempeh and a side salad with chickpeas and strawberries
why would you not wanna eat pasta? carbs? seriously.. that shit is ridiculous.. cut out any unnecessary sugars and you can eat pasta within reason... i try not to eat many carbs if any at all after lunch
i eat fairly healthy... i do it without thinking, since i like more healthy foods than disgusting greasy ones... i like fruits and veggies, alot
don't get wrong, i love pasta.i just eat too much of it at times, especially on a college budget. i just needed a lighter diet that doesn't slow me down.
