Hiy, I'm Megan and from the Uk. I'm a huge fan of Led Zeppelin. I'm new on this, but I joined because I'm tried of all the riff-raff of Myspace and Facebook etc. Because all they really are is a popularity contest, and personally, I'd rather have a nice chat, that been a part of some dumb rat race with the intention to have as many people on my friends list as possiable. Anyhow, rant over, sorry about this big paragraph, genrally, I'm easy to get on with, I'm a strong believer in Karma, so I try my best to be a good person and such, though by that I don't mean I'm this perfect innsoent person, I just mean I like to get on with people, speak honestly, and don't cheat etc. Anyhow, enough rambling. eace: Peace and Love - Megan ♥

I can identify with everything you've said so far.

I joined Facebook on one of my children's insistence. I quit it three days later. It just isn't my style, for the reasons you mentioned.

 

It's quite silly when you think about it isn't it, and I love your shakespeare quote btw, I adore his work.

 

Welcome, Megan. I too much prefer HipForums to Facebook. Did you know that during the 70s Rolling Stone magazine gave nothing but terrible reviews to Led Zeppelin? Seems crazy, looking back. Oh well, they hated the Grateful Dead, too.

 

Well it's each to their own isn't it, though I don't get how a bad word could be said about Zeppelin, their music is beautiful, in my opinion the greatest band ever formed, today's music is no competition compared to it, but that's just my view, everyone has different taste.

Hi Megan! Thanks for the reply. Typing this at 6:50 pm (same as New York City), with the sun setting here at 6:58 pm. It's nice to see more light in the evening. However, we should go back to how it used to be for the US: first Sunday in April until the last Sunday of October. Oh well!

So you go to an art college? That's sounds cool! Sadly, I never went to college myself. Even for in-state residents, Connecticut schools still cost an arm and a leg.

Silly for me to ask, but is Laura your middle name by chance? KL71 is simply my initials and birth year. Nothing original. Ugh!

 

I do, it's quite good, and well, it'll cost an arm and a leg to go to university for me, but I'm greatful that collage is free.
And yes, my middle name is Laura, it's quite a plain username but I'd forget it if it was anything else.
How do you add people as a friends on this? - The site still confuses me.
