Greetings citizens! Trying to get out of Philly

hey everybody, so I woke up today and realized that I've been hanging in my little suburb about a half hour from Philly for wayyy to long now. I am a 22 yr old college student (West Chester University) and am now on a mission to get my boogie on and start living, seeing the world and meeting new friends and family along the way. I guess the West Coast is probably my dream destination but Im always up for a pit stop anywhere along this great nation. I know it might be a long shot, but if anyone is heading out west or anywhere in between, maybe to catch a festival, for which I would be totally down like mr. Charlie Brown, please write back and maybe, if the stars align, we can work something out.

oh don't get me wrong, I love my hometown to death but I just feel like Ive been going through the motions for years now and I'm really trying to do something different rather than do the same old wake up, go to school, eat, work, repeat, routine I've been doin since I got out of high school. Ya feel me man/woman? hah sorry im new to this site so I don't know how to work the profiles and all that jazz. Btw do you know how to make a signature or quote at the bottom of a profile, like the one you got with that pic?

ha yea very true, I think what I meant to say was find work and a routine that makes me happy, and content and stick with it. I have no illusions of never having to work again in my life ya dig but I just dream about taking a few months off to just travel and sleep in tents or whatnot. Plus I have some cousins in Colorado and there's a bunch of bands playing Red Rocks that I would kill to see, or maybe do a little Phishing on the way ha.

 

pretty much any train station will take you directly to the airport via the R1 line i think it is, just transfer in like surburban station or something. it's way easier and safer than traveling with some creeper you met online when you only have like 4 posts.

 

yea this ain't the 60's anymore, thats for damn sure. thanks for your help man, my only problem is the cash to take a trip thats why I'm kind of on here in the first place but I'll take your advice

I'm in a real down to earth mood these last few days, maybe it's these stupid hormones that I have to take, I don't know, but if you can't afford shit, get a job and save up to pay for it. I literally just had this conversation with some asshole who thought he was big shit for racking up medical bills. Irritates the fuck out of me

Also soulive, you gotta plan something about your trip, or your gonna miss out on the shit you want to do.... example=red rocks. Do you have at least a few thousand to basically live on this trip? how long do u wanna go for? do you have a car/are you old enough to drive?

when i get a new car, i may take a US roadtrip....but im gonna PLAN AHEAD for it, save money, and that way the trip will be a lot better. im not saying plan every little minute detail, but some structure for things like this is good.
