THINK ABOUT WHAT YOU SAY TO PEOPLE. try to be understanding. if you dont have something nice to say, dont say it at all.

A lot of people post random shit here (hence the randomness) but I agree, think before you put stuff out there. Some people already know what went down in the Women's Forum because of some stuff that was posted that was cruel... Yah the internet is anonymous in a sense, but there's still people behind it. Think before you post.

 

Those people shouldn't be looking to the internet, much less these forums, if they want support.

 

I totally agree with you. At work I write people up if they say the word retard or reaterded or make a joke in anyway and I am definitley perceived as being a bitch for doing so but I don't care because their words show that they don't care about the very people they are paid to help.

I develop and implement the programs for kids with disabilities and cultural diversity programs for our san diego coastal branches. It's fun and I get to be creative and work from home a lot but sometimes peoples insensitivity gets to me.

 

I'm sure I'll get more negative rep for this, but do I care? I think we worry too much about what we say to people in life. I think that's why people, more and more, are turning into mushy, soft, whiny, faggots. If somebody has an emotional issue and can't handle criticism, then they should remove themselves from the crticism when it finds them. I shouldn't have to silence my own opinions because they're too much of an asswipe to handle the truth/my opinion. I read theirs and may not have liked it, but I didn't tell them to remove it for that reason. I'll continue to tell most of these stupid ass teeny bopping wanna-be hippy fucks whatever is on my mind, and if one of them happens commit suicide or maim themselves, then atleast the Psychiatric Clinic wont be so busy next week.

Trish, i agree with you whole heartedly, you are right. I think at times to some people take others the wrong way. You know without being able to see the persons facial expresion's or hear the tone in there voice it does make things more difficult to take the proper way, thus leading to somebody blasting off there mouth to someone who is actually being kind and considerate on the subject at hand. Yes people deffinately need to think before they act out.

I pretty much agree with what you said. I can't stand people who whine all the time and are so overly sensitive and get offended really easily. It's just annoying. Of course I wouldn't make fun of people who actually have serious problems, but I just have a really low tolerance for people who just keep whining and don't do anything to improve their situation. And when it comes to these forums, it seems like there are quite a few people like that. But it's not my place to judge them, so I just ignore them just like I've done this far. Everyone has their right to whine and bitch about everything, I have my right to ignore them.
