Mine were coming in straight and the doc told me I wasn't going to need them pulled. Ben had his pulled and got a horrible infection and was out of it for a week too.

I think you should keep your wisdom teeth because there are already too little people with a little sense of wisdom on this very Earth.

have them out-all fourof mine are in and they make your teeth a little crooked if you let them grow in. I didn't need braces as a kid but after my bottom wisdom teeth grew in I need them as an adult

I had four cut out... it's not as bad as you would think. The throwing up part is the worst, but even that is tolerable.

a lot of dentists just tell you that you need them pulled, but in quite a few cases you dont. i have mine. =p a word of advice to anyone going to get any dental work done. tell your dentist you react violently to pain, like really bad. and that you think he should give you gas before the novicane because you really hate needles and they make you freak. and that you just dont want to see anything horrable happen while hes fixing your teeth. it works great and you have a good experience at the dentist's office. :p

I didn't even ask, and the dentist gave me gas before the operation.

i still have to get mine out but haven't been able to get the time off of work and school because I miss so much school for work and so much work for school. But yeah I can't see having braces I don't want to look any younger than I already do.

I had braces and never want them again especially because they are so expensive. I am worried about missing work and school so I guess I can wait until winter break.

its not too bad getting them out. i got mine out when i was 21. i got all 4 out and one was impacted(laying on the side) so they had to break that one to get it out. i got knocked out and didnt feel a thing. it sucked for a few days but not too bad. the thing you have watch out for is dry socket it fuicking hurts every time you breath its like somone is stabbing you in the root. it made me cry, and this is comming from a women who survived natural childbirth! im kinda a pansy when it comes to my teeth. right now i have four teeth that need root canal... when my insurence kicks in in jan i'll get it taken care of.

I got my teeth pulled about 4 months ago, and its not bad at all in my opinon. I remember then setting me up in the chair and getting me all preped up, and i was scared as shit cause i thought it would be painful, but as soon as i fell asleep from the drugs i woke up and it was over.

You cant eat anything besides soft foods, and nothing to big, cause you cant move your jaw to wide for a while.

AS for dry sockets, i fortunatly never got one, but from what i was told is that if you get food stuck in your sockets where your wisdom teeth were pulled, it can get infected and be very painful.

If you dont need to get your wisdom pulled out ever, then thats very lucky, but its not bad at all really. Painkillers are your friends...

thats pretty much what it was, they told me to only eat cold soup, yougurt, applesauce and i was mass hungry after the surgery, i ate fried chicken and food got stuck in the holes causing a infection, its very VERY painful. so after your surgery just dont eat soild foods or smoke those are the big causes of dry socket.
