The whole thing is just stupid.. its just upsetting regarding the whole backdoor draft.. i doubt that a full draft will be called.. but it is possible if something else happens, that there will be a full draft... BUT the whole backdoor stuff, where officers of the army... who have served their entire time, are being forced back into something they dont want... i mean, its crazy... simply crazy! I just dont appreciate dishonesty.. and thats what it is.

If our government was capable of considering Operation North Woods during the Cuban Missile crisis - their honesty can never be trusted again. The back door draught is dishonest and should they feel the need to reinstitute a full draft, I'm sure they will do whatever is necessary to persuade public opinion enough to make it happen.

People don't realize how likely a draft is, when it's really just a matter of common sense.

1)The war in Iraq has become a quagmire. There is no end in sight to all the violence.

2)Enlistment numbers are not being met and re-enlistments are way down.

3)There is a severe shortage of troops, indicated by the enactment of Stop-Loss. The reserves are completely depleted.

4)Bush has proposed increasing troops by 30,000 over the next year. This is impossible as things stand right now.

5)Draft boards are currently being filled.

6)Several senators and congress people have stated that we NEED a draft.

7)Government officials have stated themselves that another major terrorist attack is likely within the coming years.

8)A draft would undoubtably be required for the endless war the neocons have proposed which is the "War on Terror." What many people don't understand is that the neocons have their eyes set on much more than just Iraq, and they will do whatever it takes to justify an invasion of Iran, and eventually Syria and North Korea.

 

They don't give a fuck how the people feel.... We are just potential soldiers for their conquest...

 

yeah.. no kidding. who wants to move to my private country.. its called Emma-Land.. where everyone can live in peace and harmony....

until the US decides that we need freedom.. and then they will ruin us and leave no man left behind...
