Just want to let you good ppl know that I've been bedridden this week with the flu. I got it good this time. I thought I could get by without a flu shot this year and wasn't keen on getting the swine flu shot mixed with the others. Bad move... So I've had two flus in two months. The first time was only about 5 days and I was back, but this is unlike any I've had before. I've had all sorts of weird experiences with this flu. Anyway I won't go into all the nasty details of this, but I hope to be back in action next week. The person who gave me this flu had a flu shot as was fine the next day. Moral of the story, get those flu shots!
Sorry to hear that The last time I had the flu was back in 1997; I was as sick as a dog for two weeks and had strep throat for 10 days. Oddly enough I haven’t been sick since, I mean not even the common cold H

skip...dont worry...i have been patrolling the forums and cleaning up the messes.. also...i have blown my nose at least 200 times in past 12 hours...i am a human snot machine atm....feel better soon
I used to get colds and flues all the time, but since I stopped eating cold and raw foods, and avoided foods like tofu, I get sick much less often. get well soon!
I hope you feel better soon. I don't think I've ever had the flu and I don't even remember ever getting a flu shot. lol My immune system seems to be superhuman though, as it's very rare that I get sick at all.
Only eldery and poorly ppl get flu shots in ther UK,otherwise your fucked and you have to suffer,I think if your rich you can pay for a jab but Im not sure on that one,Ive not had flu since I was bout 12 and it was vile.
