This is a report of a smoking experience. For me, I responded highly sensitively to thc. Instead of a funny stoned experience, I received a very strong trip, from 1.5 hits off a pipe. I had CEV's that looked like cartoons and the sparkles you see when you look at a white surface combined, and I literally was making music subconsiously, which was very good IMO. I had the typical astounding revelations of weed, but I can't remember any, just that life and death were a common theme. Music was mind blowing, and contributed to my visuals. I smoked at 1 in the morning and I woke up at 9 STILL high, but not tripping. It was wild and crazy, almost too much, but I may try again tonight. :)

Was that just weed? I have never had visuals from smoking pot, maybe the odd "did that shit just move yo". But never closed eye visuals or anything of the sort.

It was just weed, no other chemicals were involved. I'll try to smoke a much smaller amount next time and see if it happens again.

That's happened to me many times. Weed can get VERY deep, if you get stoned enough.

If you smoke once a week or less weed might stay like that for you, but if you keep smoking your tolerance will probably come sooner and later, and you'll just get those funny stoned highss.

The last time I smoked was about three months ago, where two hits off a blunt got me stoned, so that's probably the cause. It's kinda a benefit, because if I want, I can trip or, maybe, if I smoke less I'd be able to get high. The visuals were like the rolling credit things like at the beginning of star wars, changing multicolored rainbow lights, and super Mario bros graphics combined, which was muy bien.

Wow yea enjoy it while it lasts! Keep it up and only use it when you got to explore yourself.

Have you ever tripped off acid or mushrooms before?

No I haven't, though those two are on my to do list. I used to think I was mentally ready for LSD or shrooms, but now I've definitely hanged my mind.

A psychoactive drug, psychopharmaceutical, or psychotropic is a chemical substance that crosses the blood–brain barrier and acts primarily upon the central nervous system where it affects brain function, resulting in changes in perception, mood, consciousness, cognition, and behavior. These substances may be used recreationally, to purposefully alter one's consciousness, as entheogens, for ritual, spiritual, and/or shamanic purposes, as a tool for studying or augmenting the mind, or therapeutically as medication. Because psychoactive substances bring about subjective changes in consciousness and mood that the user may find pleasant

Psychoactive substances are used by humans for a number of different purposes to achieve a specific end. These uses vary widely between cultures. Some substances may have controlled or illegal uses while others may have shamanic purposes, and still others are used medicinally. Other examples would be social drinking or sleep aids. Caffeine is the world's most widely consumed psychoactive substance, but unlike many others, it is legal and unregulated in nearly all jurisdictions. In North America, 90% of adults consume caffeine daily.

Psychoactive drugs are divided into three groups according to their pharmacological effects:[13]

    * Stimulants ("uppers"). This category comprises substances that wake one up, stimulate the mind, and may even cause euphoria, but do not affect perception.

Examples: coffee, tea, cacao, guarana, mate, ephedra, khat, and coca.

    * Depressants ("downers"), including sedatives, hypnotics, and narcotics. This category includes all of the calmative, sleep-inducing, anxiety-reducing, anesthetizing substances, which sometimes induce perceptual changes, such as dream images, and also often evoke feelings of euphoria.

Examples: opioids, barbiturates, benzodiazepines, and alcohol.

    * Hallucinogens, including psychedelics, dissociatives and deliriants. This category encompasses all those substances that produce distinct alterations in perception, sensation of space and time, and emotional states.

Examples: psilocybin, THC, and LSD (psychedelics), Salvia divinorum and nitrous oxide (dissociatives), and Datura/atropine (a deliriant).

Tetrahydrocannabinol (pronounced /ˌtɛtrəˌhaɪdrɵkəˈnæbɨnɒl/ tet-rə-HY-drə-kə-NAB-i-nol) (THC), also known as delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (Δ9-THC), Δ1-THC (using an older chemical nomenclature), or dronabinol, is the main psychoactive substance found in the cannabis plant

Cannabis has psychoactive and physiological effects when consumed. The minimum amount of THC required to have a perceptible psychoactive effect is about 10 micrograms per kilogram of body weight. Aside from a subjective change in perception and, most notably, mood, the most common short-term physical and neurological effects include increased heart rate, lowered blood pressure, impairment of short-term and working memory, psychomotor coordination, and concentration. Long-term effects are less clear.

    Main article: Psychoactive effects

While many drugs clearly fall into the category of either stimulant, depressant, or hallucinogen, cannabis exhibits a mix of all properties, perhaps leaning the most towards hallucinogenic or psychedelic properties, though with other effects quite pronounced as well. Though THC is typically considered the primary active component of the cannabis plant, various scientific studies have suggested that certain other cannabinoids like CBD may also play a significant role in its psychoactive effects.

The psychoactive effects of cannabis, known as a "high", are subjective and can vary widely based on the individual and the method of use. Cannabis is often considered an atypical, unique and sometimes paradoxical psychotropic due to its vast and sometimes contradictory array of effects. The subjective experience induced by imbibing in cannabis use can be considered stimulatory and yet also sedative or depressant, while also having markedly mild psychedelic and even disassociative characteristics.

Some effects may include a general alteration of conscious percerption, euphoria, feelings of well-being, relaxation or stress reduction, increased appreciation of humor, music or the arts, joviality, metacognition and introspection, enhanced recollection (episodic memory), increased sensuality, increased awareness of sensation, increased libido,[25] creative, abstract or philosophical thinking, disruption of linear memory and paranoia or anxiety.

Cannabis also produces many subjective and highly tangible effects, such as greater enjoyment of food taste and aroma, an enhanced enjoyment of music and comedy, and marked distortions in the perception of time and space (where experiencing a "rush" of ideas from the bank of long-term memory can create the subjective impression of long elapsed time, while a clock reveals that only a short time has passed). At higher doses, effects can include altered body image, auditory and/or visual illusions, pseudo-hallucinatory or (rarely, at very high doses) fully hallucinatory experiences, and ataxia from selective impairment of polysynaptic reflexes. In some cases, cannabis can lead to dissasociative states such as depersonalization and derealization; such effects are most often considered desirable, but have the potential to induce extreme anxiety and paranoia in some unaccustomed users.

Trust me, it's possible. This wasn't any daydreaming, I was off my head tripping. I was definitely grounded, getting out of my bed would have been near impossible. trying to remember how to take off my headphones was hard enough. The best way I can compare it is to an LSA experience, (though I haven't had one, I've read up on it extensively) where there are little OEVs but some CEVs, with major, but manageable, mindfuck.

It seems impossible, but it is completely true. With respect, you've to remember that each person reacts differently. The effects of certain drugs are not universal, they are usually consistant, but not always exactly the same from person to person, especially the more psychedelic ones. Read some of the bad trip reports on erowid on cannabis, and you will find there are some who react quite radically compared to others, like I did.

P.S. My pipe is a small glass spoon, I dot know the dimensions but it doesn't hold that much.

erowid?..why the fuck would i go there..they are no more expert than I..dude...you go ahead and believe what you want...all power to you...i am saying I have smoked some of the best weed and hash in the world...many many many times..with thousands of people...if what you are saying was even remotely possible it would set the fight for legalization back to the fucking stone age....anyone that has a bad trip or even a 'trip' period is not smoking just weed or has a chemical imbalance in their brain....you can not get hallucinations off of 1.5 bowls of weed ..it has never happened and will never happen...any person[you]that thinks it did happen is mistaken or faken

Maybe that's so, I concede that I have very little experience with cannabis, so maybe I was just too high, and maybe I just overly noticed the entoptic phenomenon I possess. It just was a very intense and very strange compared to my previous encounters with thc. I do tend to react strangely to drugs, so maybe I just freaked out. Maybe this was just a freak occurrnce, but until I smoke more, I can only guess.
