Barefoot in Asbury Park, NJ Musical Venues

    Asbury Park, NJ is very barefoot-friendly. It has a beach and a boardwalk, and most businesses there don't bat an eye at barefoot customers. What I'm not sure about are the musical venues. Has anyone successfully barefooted in The Stone Pony (including the Outdoor Stage area), The Paramount Theatre, Convention Hall, etc.?

    the town maybe barfoot friendly, but the venues are not. I tried to walk into the 'Pony last summer wearin' only my calluses....lol...I was told to "get proper footwear"...so my Birks had to suffice for the night!!!
