dread web?

    so the back of my dreads is like a web meaning the roots are all connected and then they go off into dreads? how do i fix this? iv had them for about 4 months and havent gotten to do much matinence in the back because well i cant see it lol!

    You're gonna have to rip them apart into their respective sections, I'm at 4 months too. Make sure you start to tear them more often to make it easier to rip than waiting a long time inbetween ripping.

    if you don't rip you'll just get one big dread lol

    Rip them apart. It's easier to do when they're wet so do it in the shower. At least that's what I've learned. Don't brush them out, there's no need.

    I suggest that from now on make sure your dreads are sectioned by ripping them in the shower. It's easy to do if you keep up with it. You'll only need to check them every week or so.

    I tried ripping them but they were so far gone i brushed um out and redid them smaller and it actually solved the problem of people asking me if i wash my hair :p

    I hated it when people asked me that. my reply was always "My hair's probably cleaner than yours."
