So far I have Jefferson Airplane- White Rabbit, Somebody to Love, Mamas and the Papas- California Dreaming, Monday Monday, Creeque Alley, and Janis Joplin- Ball and Chain. Any other good essential 60's songs? I'm a millenial so I'm clueless lol
You're a a millenial and doesn't know how to use the internet? Just google on 60's hitlist or something, like this: http://www.digitaldreamdoor.com/pages/best_songs60s.html or http://www.xerraire.com/music/1960s.htm or http://rateyourmusic.com/list/Clarkone68/top_100_songs_of_the_60s or http://www.popculturemadness.com/Entertainment/Decades/60s-Music.html or http://www.nutsie.com/top100sradio/Top 100 60s Songs/2102427 Just go through the lists and then look on the internet for the songs to download. That's how i get all my 60's and 70's music.
Do you mean the 1960s or do you mean a very small aspect of it, as typified by the artists and songs you quote ? Popular music in 1960 was very different from that in 1969... and thats not even going into genres like Soul, Reggae, C&W, Blues, Rock n Roll, Jazz, Avante-Garde... Some great 60s music... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X4Bi6Hay-J4"]YouTube - Telstar - The Tornados (1962) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cFIqxnSo-gQ"]YouTube - Desmond Dekker - 007 Shanty Town https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BJIqnXTqg8I"]YouTube - The Stooges - I Wanna Be Your Dog https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dael4sb42nI"]YouTube - Otis Redding - Try A Little Tenderness
