Can you say relaspe.....LOL

Well it kinda happened to me. It was probably only a matter of time. I went and filled all my scripts. The ones I just picked up this past week and the ones from a month ago. I now sit with:

360 30mg roxies ( i was upped to 180 from 120, and didnt even realize it)
240 100mg Nucynta
180 10mg Methadone

Insurance paid for half so i got it all for about $246. the funny part is, I have all of these and I havent taken any since I picked em up yesterday. I was offered 7500 dollars for 300 of the roxies. Another 460 for the methadone. 8K for a 246 dollar investment. Problem is, i will never sell em,cant afford the risk. Now lets see how long i can keep em without taking any its not fucking easy i can tell u that, but when I think what I went through with withdrawals beginning of FEB, it makes it much easier to hold off. What does 10mg of done usually go for, street price? The Nucynta has no real street value even though it is an opiate. It works great when taken with a roxy, other than that u would have to take at least 500mg to feel anything.
Ive been clean for a month and a half.

That's a lot of pills! Now you are really going to feel urges! What made you go and fill them? Not sure what the street prices of methadone are but I do know that those 30mg Roxi's will got for $20-25 a pop here.

Just out of curiosity - if you get 180 roxis a month, that comes out to 6 a day. Is that what you were prescribed? If so I think that is crazy - even if you were just taking them for the pain. 6 a day seems like a lot even for an addict. No wonder all these people are getting hooked on opiates.

 

Actually, I was at 4/day when I quit. I never canceled my script, was going to but didnt. I had asked him for an increase several visits ago, cause I was doing 5/day, 1 1/2 per dose. I kept running out at end of month, ask Popcorn. So I didnt know these past two scripts had been increased till I received the script from the other day and saw 180 vice 120. So i got the older script out of my wallet and it too said 180 vice 120. So i got them both filled. Im giving the methadone to someone I already know who goes to clinic every morning to get his.
Cold, 6/day is nothing, there are those on here that take 240-300mg/day and a couple who are over 400mg/day. Not trying to justify my old habit, just saying 180mg/day, while alot, isnt close to some of the hardcores on here.

 

Wow thats crazy Bottle! I never knew that some people were prescribed 300-400mg a day. I thought that I was bad with my habit of 120mg a day. I mean I know some people that abuse and take 300-400mg a day but to be prescribed that by a doctor just seems crazy.

Actually Cold, ive seen a handful of scripts for this old man and women who were in line in front of me about 5 refills ago. The Meds were for both of them and to top it off neirther of them weighed more that a buck 40. The scripts were as follows:

60 20mg opana
240 30mg roxies
90 2mg Xanax
90 10mg Valuim
(I smell a monthly salary coming from them)

When a FL Dr. gets above 240 roxies on one script, they tend to get visits from DEA. Itsrare to see above 180 oe any single script. In the last year in Florida, there have been 1-3/day pain management clinics busted and closed for being Pill Mills. In that same time, for each one closed 3 opened! Florida hands out more roxies per year than the other 49 states combined, however that info is more than a year old. Its crazy down here! When the OCs were just that OCs and not OPs, it was killing 4-6 people a day in FL, that data was from 2009!

 

Be careful Bottle with all them pills. You know how easy relapse is. I must admit I couldn't have them in my possession and not relapse. Them 30's here in N.C. Go for $25-30 a pop all day long. The Done go for $6 a pop. I can get em for $5 in quantity. Whoever offered you that 8 g's was craaazy! That's alot of dough for what you got. I wouldn't turn it down if I new the person was legit.
Anyways bud I hope your doing well. I've managed to stay sober since my last relapse. I wish you nothing but the best in whatever you decide to do. All your kind words you've said to me in the past are greatly appreciated. You are a wise man so you will figure something out to do with them things.

I totally believe you Bottle. I've heard all sorts of crazy stories about Florida...lol. It just amazes me how quick docs are handing out pills down there. Not just how quick but how many they are giving to people. No wonder why there is a pill epidemic.

Thanks Cold, i am doing well for having a kidney stone, This shit aint no joke when u hear about one. Its easily the worse pain Ive ever felt.

 

Samesies. Methadone goes for like 7-9 bucks for 10mgs around me.

 

Well i had the stone begin moving again today. Brought me to my knees. Wife ended up taking me to ER again. As soon as i got there, i was in back getting a shot of demerol. The pain instantly vanished. wish I could get that stuff in pill form, lol. Anyway, I got back home and took a nice long nap. When i woke it must have settled cause all I felt was discomfort, no real pain. Im using 15mg of roxy and 200mg of nucynta as a dose for treating this pain. If i havent passed it by Tuesday, I am getting it blasted apart via sonic waves and be done with it. Im hoping i wont have much withdrawals but if so, no biggie. There was just no way I could have gotten through this without meds, so I dont feel bad about it. It was nice to find out that 15mg was all i needed to get pain relief. You know, i had no real reason to get these scripts filled, now im wondering if some higher power saw this coming.

 

I'll never know how people OD on Oxy's. I don't take xanax and I've never come close to OD. Dope on the other hand can be tricky at times.

 

How can you not know how people OD on oxy? People who have no opiate tolerance go out and buy, say an OC80, crush it up and snort it. Some people will die just from that. People who have no clue what they are doing.

Respiratory depression is the main culprit.
