And I'm talking about the intercourse itself.

Not the foreplay, not if the guy fingered you or gave you oral right after the intercourse.
a vaginal G spot orgasm from the intercourse itself !

Please take your time to answer my poll.

I think it could be a nice research if we get enough answers.

I'm betting it's about 20-25 percent, and even then it probably takes a good amount of manual (or oral) stimulation either during or before coitus. Women have a harder time getting there, but boy, when they do...!

I'm not sure, why u ask this question, but i think that there is more to think about at this topic... i cant have an orgasm just by penetration, but if my clit is involved, i could always have it. but i have to admit that my orgasm is much better during intercourse and / or anal stimulation (but i think that doesn't count for evry lady) ;) in that case i have always vaginal orgasms, with pure clitoral stimulation i have a clitoral orgasm... dunno if thats useful to u

Studies have shown only about 25% of females can orgasm vaginally alone.

I've had 2 guys out of the 16 I've been with able to get me off from intercourse alone. My ex from two years back was able to after a year of being with me and learning what I like.

My current boyfriend can get me off multiple times every time, ever since the first time we were together. I've never had that before, and I'm so addicted to it. Before sex was just a thing I did to please my partner, not that I didn't still enjoy it I just never got to enjoy all of it. Now, I'm becoming so spoiled and actually LOVE sex rather than just liking the intimacy of being with someone I care about etc. and i don't ever want to go back....

The percentage is really low for vaginal stimulation only. I myself have only achieved this once and it was just me doing my thing while my hubby was at work. It took about a half hour of playing. I kept having to resort to clitoral stimulation as well as vaginal stimulation until just before I peaked and then stop the clitoral stimulation but stayed with the vaginal stimulation. Had to do this over and over and over, plus mental imagery to keep the heat going. Finally it happened and it was the best orgasm of my life. But I doubt my husband can do what my fingers did so, just as SaraShell420 said about what she did before her current boyfriend, I will just enjoy the sex for the intimacy unless I get on top so I can rock my hips for the friction on the clit to achieve orgasm.

I almost always have an orgasm from penetration. I use to not be able to come if I was the one on top, but that has changed, now that we found a way to allow my body to relax in that position. I count myself lucky because I am very sensitive, so I rarely am not able to climax

Oprah Winfrey did a show on this a few years ago. The results of a study had been released, and she put it in her show. Turned out that the whole hour was devoted to it.
70% of women never once experience an orgasm ever in their lives.
90% of women only experience an orgasm once.
Only 3% of women are multi-orgasmic.

It suggests there are a whole lot of women that are faking it. Maybe that's why the average woman doesn't comprehend a "sex-drive".

Totally disagree with Oprah's research... I am (and many of my friends are) Multi-orgasmic. I known there may be a lot of hung up women out there who are afraid to really explore their sexuality, but this doesn't mean they don't have the potential to be there!

I'm with you on this. So many of these surveys (including a majority of the "polls" here at THF) are skewed simply because of the nature of the audience and the context of the question being asked. I suppose Oprah's audience is heavily weighed in toward highly dramatic, uptight single women, generally unhappy with their sex lives anyway. Could be wrong about that, but looking at her results you've gotta believe it's true.

I laugh when I see surveys here about "what's your favorite position?" or "do you enjoy giving oral?" and subjects like that. I mean, men, women, and gay people will all have completely different opinions when it comes to sex practice preferences.

My hubby is very big and his thrusting against my clitoris with his 'washboard ' belly always does it for me

I don't believe this at all. The statistic that only 25% of women can get off during intercourse alone makes sense to me, but that 70% of women have NEVER experienced an orgasm? No way. My girlfriends and I are pretty frank about sex. I know they all masturbate because we've talked about it. To suggest that 70% of women have never had an orgasm suggests that only 30% of women out there are successfully masturbating. Theres just no way thats right.

I'm with ya on this one.
