I would've taken up the offer 6 months ago when I was living there. Perth can be a pretty unfriendly place when you don't know anyone, I know from experience.

White_dove, I think it depends on where you as to how unfriendly. I'm in the middle of suburbia so I get judged alot by how I look. The beaches are WONDERFUL. The water is my guilty pleasure.

Hey, where abouts in Perth are ya? I'm in the northern suburbs. I have noticed Perth is getting a little snobby. I'm a bus driver so I see all kinds of people here. I like the barefoot lifestyle but people here are starting to think it's some kind of sin or something.
