RIP Bear, Last I heard he was welding crazy structures on his property in Australia and was also beating cancer using a weird diet. He was an electronics genius too. Wired up the wall of sound the Dead used in the 70's. The album 'Bear Choice' was dedicated to Owsley.
I'm a lucky guy, too, not because I took his acid, but because I had the chance to meet him when he was 60. We had several interesting conversations.
A bro working as a janitor at Berkley U. found the formula in a trash can and passed to Bear, thus the legend of the Dancing Bear was born. I was another lucky bastard.:sunny: Viva the purple microdot!
