IR and ER

    Probabaly a stupid question, but what is the difference between a pilll that is IR and one that is ER?

    IR=Immediate Release. The drug hits you all at once, basically.
    ER=Extended Release. The drug is released over a longer period of time, hitting you with less intensity, but with longer duration.
