Who else here likes wine? I'm drinking this South African stuff, a merlot, it's damn good. But only for buzzing, mood enhancing kind of things. Get drunk on wine and you'll suffer more than you would if you'd died and gone to hell. But it makes you feel good and tastes pretty good too, so it's my favorite alcoholic beverage.

I'm no connesseur, but I do like wine. Anyone else?

I just love how its a much more laid back drunk rather than the tense idiot drunk. Plus its got so much variety in flavor and price.

Exactly! It, in some ways, reminds me of being mildly stoned. It's a feel-good drink, unless you have too much. Then it's just good old "idiot drunk" as you said.

I love my wines, theres so many nice wineries in my area, two of my close friends families own wineries. Rather a nice glass of wine to a beer any day.

I love Italian Merlot wine and sotuh african Merlot wine. When i went to reading festival this year i took a bottle of red wine and a plastic wine glass with me,i looked rather odd espcially as the next camp had whitelightning, but i was happy, hehe.

Wine is SO disgusting. Everyone tells me that you have to have an acquired taste for it, well I guess I don't have it. Both white and red are nasty. I will never drink them again.

I'm 2/3 way finished with a bottle of Placido Chianti. A nice Tuscan wine. Delicious. A little sweet, but not nauseatingly so. Goes great with pasta!

mmmm I like to curl up with a 2 gallon jug of wine that I purchased down the street for $11.50 and drink it at my studio until I can no longer play my drumset, slur my words, and pass out on our duct tape couch.

I personally like Baringer White Zinfandel. As far as the quality for the price goes, its da bomb! Plus I have yet to meet a person who doesn't like it.

I like reds usually... I had a good valpolicilla once but i read that they're very unpredictable. Also I've tried several Australians as per the advice of MJK and they're usually very good. White usually finds me buying Lindemann's "best selling import in the country" Hehe but right now I'm finishing a jug of Carlo Rossi Sangria :p
