Unfortunately money is power, without money you don't have much power. People end up missing everyday...
Who gives a fuck? he's fighting so that they can talk shit about him. Because like batman, he's not the hero america wants, but the hero it needs
I can't believe people on this forum is actually taking for word micheal moores words and then having a Julian Assange or Manning avatar. Michael moore is some one you should really question. It's not like he really did any thing with his capitalism a love story movie so show how things are really run. Its deeper then what he showed.
back in 1979, in a philosophy class i was taking; the prof was telling a story about, when plato was talking on truth, one of his students lifted his robe and took a shit. i guess it was about 3 years later, i heard regain on the radio talking about how all of us would need to "tighten our belts, and give our money to the rich, so they could make money, and let all the wealth trickle down to the rest of us." hearing that on the radio reminded me of that day in philosophy class. hearing reagan speak of "wealth creation," made me want to drop my pants and take a shit. mike is great at his thing, but in his speech on this matter is old news to me. reagan told us the same thing 30 years ago and, he talked us into letting ourselves be fucked over. mark another one up for the stupidity of heard mentalty!
To tell you the truth, I'm more suspect of his fans on that one. How they can worship him even when they admit he cooks his stories; just cause he claims to be on their side
'At the box office, as of 2010 Fahrenheit 9/11 is the highest-grossing documentary of all time, taking in over US$200 million worldwide, including United States box office revenue of almost US$120 million.[3] In February 2011, Moore sued producers Bob and Harvey Weinstein for US$2.7 million in unpaid profits from the film, claiming they used "Hollywood accounting tricks" to avoid paying him the money' daddy wants his candy.
just google it. it's not untrue. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/culture/...ners-over-missing-Fahrenheit-911-profits.html and to clarify, you know, about smurfs: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20080623112650AApLSN5
Thanks for the link but no, I don't care whether it's true or not - it's irrelevent. Moore accurately reflected what's been happening in America in his speech. And regardless of whatever the merits are of his trying to get money back from some people he thinks ripped him off his speech remains true.
