What I mean by that is this: Do the people know you are a lesbian just by looking at you, or do you have to tell them? I do not have "gay vibes" and people are shocked when I tell them I am a lesbian.
not a lesbian but it could apply to gay guys too right? i get more "you dont act gay"s than "oh yeah i could definitely tell youre gay"s, and it makes me feel good for some reason.
Yes, it could be applied to guys. I, however, act gay, though I don't "look gay". When I was single, I would totallly flirt with other girls when I sat close to them. And when I'm out with my girlfriend, I am certain the people ask questions. lol. To make myself more clear, I do not have "gay vibes" naturally, but when I am seen in action, then my orientation is questioned.
I'm A Middle Aged Man..:wheelchair:..And All My Life Gay Guys Thought I Was Straight..*because i act so butch*.. And Most Straight Peeps Thought I Was Gay...:willy_nilly: I Had Sooooo Much Fun Playing Games To Confuse Them All......:2thumbsup:. Cheers Glen.
Though I admire any input, this is a LESBIAN forum and as the description says, this is strictly for women only. I mean no disrespect, nor do I wish to start fights. If any guys want to answer my question, they should ask it themselves in the gay forum. Thank you.
I Mean No Disrespect, Nor Do I Wish To Start Fights, But This Smells Of "Gender Discrimination" To Me....Therefore, I Hereby Declare, 'Lesbians" Are Not Welcome In The "Gay BOYS" Forum...Thank You...:2thumbsup:. Can't Be More "Fairer" Than That...:2thumbsup:. Cheers Glen.
Short hair=possible gay, short hair and "gangsta" style=gay for SURE. Other than styling, it's just how openly sexual you are, and how obvious you are about finding someone attractive or flirting.
I don't look gay at all. I have long blonde hair and am very girlie. My gf most people can tell she does her hair and makeup but dresses guyish.
I forgot to mention something. Although I have to tell people I'm gay, it becomes pretty obvious when I talk about women. At least, I can see it in their eyes. When I was single, I was very flirty around other girls. I would subconciously draw attention to my long hair, breasts, and legs and invade their personal space. Even back then, I did not look gay, but I sure acted gay.
Even wearing rainbow pants and carrying stuffed animals with me regularly and being a lot more talkative than straight people, people are still surprised to hear that I'm not 100% straight
