Finally some good news for Florida residents Rep. Jeff Clemens, a Democrat from Lake Worth, has filed a joint resolution that if passed by the Legislature would let voters in 2012 weigh in on a constitutional amendment legalizing medical marijuana. The number HJR 1407

Recent polls show almost 60% support for medical marijuana in Florida, so if your a Florida resident let your elected officials know you support the bill. But with Republicans in control we will see if the bill makes it.

Florida has a Republican controlled legislator and a tea bagger Governor, good luck passing that.

I know, uphill all the way, but this is the first time that I can remember that anyone even had the balls to introduce anything positive pertaining to marijuana.

Same problem here in WV, conserative dems in control, repubs in dem clothing. But there was a bill introduced recently to try to legalize mj here, I expect it to fail, but am glad to see someone with foresight! :)
