I love pancakes! And while we're at it, how about a Pan(as in Peter Pan), also? Haha, jokes aside... Somebody on here, I think Danielle, once said that I might be pansexual. I think, more accurately, I'm a heterosexual male with some pansexual characteristics. I'm definitely sexually aroused by both sexes, though, the circumstances have to be right. For example, I don't see myself ever getting in an actual relationship with another guy. But certain footage that features some aspects of male sexuality may arouse me, or certain dreams featuring the said aspects may cause me to have wet dreams.
You do realise it's more than just being aroused by both sexes, right? Being pansexual means you're into girls, boys, animals, trees, objects. Everything.
Yes, but I don't think most people need to hear what kind of things have gotten me aroused in the past, lol. xD
I don't think thats what it is. This is what the urban dictionary says: pansexuality 111 up, 15 down buy pansexuality mugs, tshirts and magnetsA form of sexuality often confused or intermeshed in definition with bisexualaty (an attraction towards both physical sexes: male and female). Pansexuality is, in truth, a much broader form of sexual orientation, in which the pansexual individual experiences sexual attraction towards members of ALL genders (not to be confused with sexes, which is purely physical--gender has to do with the psychological), including transgender, transsexual, cross dressing, androgyne, androgen, two-spirited, gender-fliud, and all other variety of gender identitfications, as well as those who do not feel that they have a gender.
Pan means "all". Hence pantheism means God is all. It seems to me it would make sense pansexuality would mean sexual attraction to all. The kind where you are attracted to everything on the gender scale I would call multisexuality to distinguish it from bisexuality which is attraction to two genders.
Pansexual without getting into definitional detail means that you are open to sex with everyone, regardless of who, as long as you find them attractive. I usually define it as open to being in love with anyone, and that you do not gender or sex discriminate, but I find many pansexual people have disagreed with me saying that they do not see it as having much to do with love, to which I respond "then you are just a slutty bisexual then?"
Well, maybe on the Real Kinky forum if I ever actually gotten in the mood to talk about it... lol Since Leviathan mentioned the love aspect of it, though, I must clarify that, for me, it's more of a sexually centered feeling than anything "love" oriented(in terms of emotional love) in many cases. Of course, sometimes I find myself fantasizing about being in love with a non-human, fictitious entity...like Dren from the movie Splice. By that, I mean Dren in the state seen in the pic below...I shan't say any more so as not to ruin it for those who hasn't seen the movie and wish to, lol.
