Went to Fair Day today, Victoria Park in the middle of Sydney Stalls and rides and such for our GLBT community, not sure what its really for, I think to raise money for Mardi Gras Its been a while since I've been, its differnt to other kind of events as its outside and during the day and more family orientated. A couple things that stuck out: 1. How good everyone was looking, most of the gay guys were in good shape (actually it was a total pervfest) and most of the gay girls were looking pretty stylish. This kind of thing 10/15 years ago would have been filled with gay guys that look like naked Santas, and Gay girls running around with mullets and flanellette shirts 2. Seemingly the only heterosexuals there were couples in their 20/30s pushing prams with kids under 4. There didnt seem to be much of any other variety. Especially curious was the lack of packs of straight girls who come along to giggle. Made for a very gay centric day Entertainment was a bit lame,No one thought to bring X, cans of scotch and coke were $10 a pop. So had a surprising good day considering it was drug and alcohol free Oh, and there was a Surf Life Saving Stall with 1/2 dozen of them standing around in their little speedos, that will be saved for the spank bank for the next few months
When I Was In Sydney On A Weekend I Used To Visit The "Paddington Markets", Great Markets, And If You Got Thirsty, There Was An Irish Pub Directly Across The Road That Had Windows That Enabled You To Enjoy A Glass Of Wine, And Check Out " The Talent" At The Same Time...:2thumbsup:. Cheers Glen.

Sounds like you had a good experience like I had at our Gay Pride on South Beach last year. Did you get any pics?
