Health risks associated with MXE

I probably am on this psychedia board the one and maybe only painkiller using, pill-popping, degenerate junkie motherfucker that just so happens to also do psychedics about three times a week and really prefers them over anything else. Yes. Take porkstock's words soundly and if you go the road of opies and slamming and banging your nights away, start off with half the doses (if that) that I've lined out that I would generally use for myself. Shit, today I used 60mg total hydrocodone and that was just to kill the pain of my degenerative spinal problems, and I was still in pain, but sans the diarrhea after a time.

 

Gbl is generally agreed upon as being the heavier of the two and certainly more potent, but probably is the one that appeals more to us explorers of altered conscious as where ghb might be more fun in social enviornments.

Its nickname is liquid x and the first 45 minutes definitely had a similar flowing liquid feeling to a good Ecstasy roll but in a sedative type way. After about 45 minutes it gave way to as best as I can describe half drunken/ half coke type high (not like cocaethylene though) where I felt good and fairly sociable.

Its not as good as mdma IMO but it was definitely fun.

 

don't get me wrong i love an opiate high, but what i mean is nodding off unable to socialize is boring and a waste of life in my opinion. I prefer laughing my ass off or chatting loads to people. sitting there in a monged out opiate high isn't really my idea of fun even though i love the feeling. i have better stuff to be doing than that.

 

Get GHB if you can, it's much cleaner. GBL is alloy cleaner and was the legal kind in many places before it being abused and causing a lot of ODs/deaths.

Thanks p0ly, I'll take that advice and ask my guy to see if he can hook me up with that one rather than the alloy cleaner, even if GB is right and it's more fun/more potent (and I have a good feeling he can get me a connect for GBH).

Just a quick note, has anyone noticed that almost every single one of us has hijacked GM's thread on the health risks of MXE, or at least even speculated ones? Talk of meph, meth, M1, coke, heroin, special k, MDMA, PCP, LSD, DMT, GHB, & damned near every other drug under the sun *EXCEPT* for MXE, & in specific, it's possible health risks has certainly taken this thread over. Sorry for my part in that shit GM!

 

Because it wasn't used for anything except getting high, GBL had purposes in alloy cleaning

people round here used to buy GBL in the alloy cleaner tubs and convert it to GHB.

GHB helps you get into deep sleep within an hour (REM sleep) it takes 4 hours to normally get there so is a very good medicine for sleep. Though if you're taking it daily it causes the worst insomnia ever, i know of friends who were waking up every 3 hours in sleep to redose to be able to get back to sleep...

also read some horrific withdrawal stories on erowid. my friend off another forum used to be a nurse at a drug withdrawal hospital and said GHB was the most fucked up withdrawal shes ever seen. people not sleeping for 5 days completely psychotic even after 50mg+ of valium, laying there wanking in a mad state. sounds way worse than Heroin/benzo withdrawal.

 

Maybe a few deaths, I don't really know, but my guess would be because of the reason that every drug is scheduled or on its way to the schedule one fasttrack: People having too much fun, the US government doesn't like it when it can't keep us docile & well under control. So in short, the "fun police" are my speculative reason.

There have been TONS of Ghb associated overdoses and related deaths.

Besides potency there is no reason to believe gbl is much worse if at all than ghb and it is a superior high by almost everyone I've talked to who has done both.

GBL won't be much a different high but i'd dread to think of how it tastes and i've heard some people say it's really corrosive on the stomach in comparison and not to take it.

Thanks for posting that, I have an obvious addictive personality, so knowing that going in will be sage wisdom to take just like the dangers associated with special k and MXE, I will definitely use that one with caution. My seven year, almost eight year habit with opies and benzos and at one point during those years, a week long trip to rehab where all meds were taken away, and in their place clonidine and a weaker benzo, that shitty Librium stuff, was used to keep me sane and alive. I could barely stand it, it was equal hell to jail time. I cannot imagine detoxing off a WORSE addiction than my multiple addictions, mainly to opies & benzos (which suffice to say, rehab didn't kick me off, nor did any doc taking away my scripts).

So I've noticed on occasion, remember, I've been here for over a year now

Still though, sometimes peeps get cranky when this happens. I have to admit, though, that this particular derailing has made for much more interesting fodder to read than general since it's discussing a lot of stuff normally not discussed 'round here ever at all.

 

It doesn't taste great I'll concede that but neither does absinthe, as long as there is a chaser its bearable.

 

Gbl is a way worse addiction than heroin, coming from the guy who rails grams of ketamine to barely get an affect and spends all morning over the toilet.

 

I don't actually spend anytime on the toilet but i do get bed ridden after 2 week binges for 2 days =(

i can sleep on ketamine as well and it doesn't make me depressed, infact the mental effects aren't bad at all. just when i stop taking it it makes me boring for a day or so and i cba to do anything social or much at all.

The reason why i'm addicted to k is the fact that you can binge for ages before there's really a hangover. I don't take stimulants due to the mental downer they give me (i do sometimes though just barely ever, only when i''m drunk i dose them)

 

Hmmm, at this point, GB and p0ly have both got compelling arguments for either/or of GHB and GBL.

So I just asked my guy just now if he can hook me up with either, I'm crossing my fingers!

I also asked about credible sources for 3-MeO-PCP, 4-MeO-PCP, and tiletamine. I hope all five can be found and that I can choose my pick of the litter!

There is certainly potential for addiction to gbl but I found ketamine far more addicting than GBL personally, Id speculate its about as addicting as alcohol.

 

B.S.!!! That's so terribly subjective! If you add enough water, poured slowly over a sugar cube (I usually use two sugar cubes, though), it tastes great, maybe it's an acquired taste, maybe not, but it's certainly a subjective opinion, dude, lol. In fact, since I drink so rarely, absinthe is about the only spirit I really care to even partake of, & largely *because* of how good it tastes TO ME, heh. I love the taste of all of those special, special herbs steeped in that most wonderful of spirits! I'd make an exception with absinthe and get drunk on it if I a) had some chloryl hydrate to make a Micky Finn out of it, or, b) had some coke to make that most wonderful of synergistic effects happen, the whole cocaethylene thing!!! Just not very often, with any of the three.
