Hey there. I have been interested in trying peyote for a while now. I live in Texas and know that peyote grows naturally in south texas but I know that it is scarce.
I am wondering if anyone knows or can point me in the right direction to obtaining peyote in texas, or if anyone knows of a place where a peyote ceremony occurs in Texas.
I found one in Arizona (peyoteway.org) but that is a little too far for me to travel with my current funds.
    Thanks in advance!

Make sure if you take anything wild, that it's harvested responsibly. I say this because I doubt you'll listen when I tell you to FUCK OFF and leave peyote alone. (I'd like a cluster, myself....)

It's under a lot of strain, and at the rate it's going, won't make it much longer in the wild, at least in this region.

There are, of course, the tricocereus cacti. You might look into them. They're much faster growing, and legal.

I understand the scarcity situation, which is why I'd rather not even try to harvest it myself. I'd rather participate in a peyote ritual on a reservation. Or is there any other way I could get mescaline that you recommend?

he recommended cacti of the genus tricocereus, in case you weren't paying attention.
