Dear friends, I'm only 21 years old, so I missed the Woodstock-era and feel really sad about that! I don't feel at home in 2011 :-( I'm so happy to see that there still are somme hippie's left !! I'm not sure if there still are many hippies in Belgium or The Netherlands, altough here in Belgium we still have many flower power party's, goa party's and festivals, tribe-festivals ... And The Netherlands are also known for the hippies... Anyway, I am from Belgium, and I feel sad that all Rainbow Gatherings are far away... I don't have a car, and travelling by train, bus or airplane is really expensive... So please, I'm begging you, hold a rainbow gathering in Belgium or The Netherlands!! That would be so great, and I hope that it would also bring back the hippie spirit to those country's ;-) Peace&Love PLUR

Do you mean "hippie winkel"? It is Dutch for a shop that sells hippie clothes and other stuff... So it just means hippie shop And thanks very much for the info! Peace
bro, the rainbow is within you! you don't have to look elsewhere for the gathering, you can make it happen just by you getting together with others - and that's as legit a rainbow gathering as any other! you might want to get some tips from the rainbow vets, but there's nothing stopping you! maybe I will go visit your rainbow gathering if you have one
