We used to go to school barefoot all year arround, and in winter, used to fight over fresh cow dung droppings to warm our frozen barefeet on route to school.Goimg to sbhool barefoot was a proud issue, and a stavp symbole, and the more callest your feet were, and whoever's heels had the most cracks were revered as barefoot king.Sneakers were a disgrace, shoes were only for church and had to be removed the moment you stepped out of the church.Teachers forbad shoes at school, and to wear shoes,u had to have a docter's letter. Skinny dipping was the norm for swimming, and parents wer'nt bothred with swimwear for kids, and spending hollidays with friends at rivers and lakes everyday, naked and carefree, mudstick fighting and exploring the hills and vallies and forrests naked and adventurously, making kytes, the Sunday lunch, and aFternoon rests,When there were no tv,cellphones, wii, playstations and we had to make up all our games oursekves.I HATE the sneaker revolution, and wish kidscan be oldfashioned barefoot kids again.

I never wear shoes either but honestly I'd let my feet freeze before I would stick them ankle deep in cow shit

Just use your mouse to click and highlight the part that you are reading. It's worked for me since forever, so there, now you don't have to make any more angsty posts about it :)
