I made a bamboo fishing rod :)

I found a good non cracked piece of bamboo in the woods... so I took an old white shoe string tied it good on the end and stuck a hook through it..

When it gets to be warm I'm going down to the woods to fish dammit!

I'm excited!


Gonna bring my tackle box and little chair and something to eat I'm just gonna spend my summer days fishin and enjoyin the woods.

long time ago as you see on some the funny videos.. We was fishing next to these folk when some kid comes by with a stick and string.... This one guy there telling the kid"you aint gonna catch nothing on that, your wasting your time" and before the old man could finish his sentence that kid pulled out a large mouth bass than was easy 15''.. hahah .. really he just tossed his hook in for less than a second, and I dont think there was bait on it.. Ill never forget that.

 

Sounds like you got it going on Dazed ! Might suggest some better line, I bet you can find some ole line down by the water.
