First I'd like to say that yesterday I had my first acid trip in more than 28 years. Start time was 9:20am. Lift off about 10:15am. Yesterday was a beautiful day full of surprises, beauty and fun. It was like I lived a months worth of "normal" days in one day! I'm preaching to the choir so heres my question.
A friend was asking me if perhaps something in a liquid would store longer if the air portion of the bottle was filled with that Argon/CO2/Nitrogen gas that is used to keep partial bottles of wine preserved? The gas is $10 online. The "liquid" of course is...do I need to say it? I heard it was VERY hard to come by. But it happened!!!

    My (limited) understanding is...

The two biggest degraders of L is oxygen and light. So purging the vial with an inert gas should help. And keep it in a cool dark place.

    Wecome, btw.

Heat, light and oxygen are your biggest enemies. The 100ug ampoules that Sandoz labs sold were filled with nitrogen to help preserve shelf life, so in answer to your question, yes, using an inert gas would help prolong shelf life.
