Not About Sex......?

A few thing and I hope all of you don't mind this random off topic thread. However this seemed like the best place to post it.

Now I know I'm now veteran of these forums but I am also not completely new either.

1. I just was wondering how many people would actually open this thread with a title that was not (WIFE SWOP) (I FUCKED MY SISTER) ext.... any who you get it.

2. How many people think that all the one post wonders are the same few people over and over again or do that many people really stumble upon the place. ( it would be nice to hear from a one post wonder)

3. If you hate this thread please comment saying so.

Sorry just some random thoughts that ran through my head at 2 in the morning.

Well at least i got you to post in this thread. Oh well. I already knew it was going to flop when i made it.

 

I open posts that seem interesting. Both of the ones you mentioned I kind of associate with humor: and who doesn't enjoy a laugh? I also open ones that are more intellectually stimulating: all depends on my mood.

I think the vast majority are individuals, not those who return. I'm not a one post wonder though...

I guess I felt it was worthy enough to distract from my boredom.

 

Self fulfilling prophecy?
It's common sense to know that a thread 'not about sex' in L&S would get less response. We have 399 other forums to talk about 'not sex' on.

I checked the thread out because the concept struck me as odd.

 

1) the people that wouldn't open a thread without those kinds of titles wouldn't have opened this thread, so you won't hear their responses.

personally, i open all new threads in the forums i frequent, and decide from there if i want to actually read the whole thing. such is the beauty of high speed internet.

2) some of both.

3) the only threads i truly hate are the ones that ran their course a long time ago, but for whatever reason they just won't fucking die.

if this thread hits 200 posts and lasts for more than 2 weeks, i'll probably hate it then.

 

I think sometimes the one post wonders are legit, but then just get attacked and thus never come back

 

title your next thread "SEX! SEX! SEX!!!!!!"

you'll get way more views that way.

Yea i have made a few of those here or there. What kind do you think would get the most attention.

 

this is the sex forum, so i imagine something sex based would receive the most hits here.

(2) One cannot read all the Posts and therefore repetitive threads are not always the case to the individual reader
