i may be able to get some fent patches soon. 30$ for the 75ug/hr or 40$ for the 100ug/hr ones. are these reasonable prices?
Hey, sorry to here about your friend. But your probley right about just sticking to pills. Just a huge opie fan and curious
yeah im very aware of fentanyl's potency and the care needed when using it. im going to be with a friend who has several years experience working in a chemlab and he knows how to do all the proper extraction/dosing stuff. I'm just wondering if these are reasonable prices or if the money is better spent just getting pills.
You're not going to get high with them like from pills. That's the whole point of the transdermal patches. Pain relief that impacts your mental status less, thus improving your quality of life. That's why people die wearing them trying to get a high.
Fentanyl is serious shit for opioid-resistant chronic pain patients, and literally, for equine veterinary patients. If you don't know what you're doing, they will lay your ass out dead. My wife, after 50 years of Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis rotting her bones out from the inside, was on a 100 mcg AND a 25 mcg, and had been on this dose for over six months, after years of taking oxycontin, then Dilaudid, and then Methdone for pain relief. And as the above poster said, they're made NOT to fuck you up, if you're taking them for chronic pain. But on Feb 23, 2009, for whatever reason, it was just too much for her, and she slipped away in her sleep, right next to me. The fact that a literally lethal dose was barely relieving her pain gives me some consolation that it was time for her to go, but I miss her horribly (and if you'll notice, the anniversary is coming up quickly). I realize that all of life is a matter of taking risks and chances, but I'd hate to see someone die in a silly accidental overdose just because they didn't understand what they were messing with.
NOT TRUE! at all. you get just as high, if you have the non-gel patches, just cut it into strips or little peices. and put it on your tounge. the end. suck on that.
yeah i know people that catch a buzz on em all the time. you just have to chew on them to release the fent faster. but like everyone said, be REALLY careful. let us know how it goes if you decide to get em blitz.
I was hooked on the Matrix (not gel, just the sticky ones) fent patches for over 6 months. All you gotta do it cut it in half and put one half in your lip, kinda like a dip. But only for 5 min!!!!!! Dont put it in your lip and wait untill you feel it, thats to long for most people. seriously 3-5min. The longer its in there the more cross eyed youll get. the patches can be used alot more than a few times too. youll be able to taste when its gone. I would say there is, depending on tolerance, there is anywhere from 10-40 doses in each 75 ug patch. Which shouldn't be surprising at all if you know anything about fentanyl. the duration of action is shorter than most opiates, and these patches are supposed to cure pain for 72 hr. I think there is about 7.65 mg in one 75ug/hr patch. if you could isolate the fentanyl of one patch, thats enough to kill at least 20 people. People overdose all the time.
Yeah the way ive seen it done to catch a good high with the gel ones is to cut them in portions, then chew on them. Obviously be smart about how much you use, try to make an educated decision about your dose based on your tolerance to the most potent opioid youve tried to date.
Is there any specific way to divide the portions of the fentanyl gel patches? I'm looking to get more than a "buzz" of it.
Totally off-topic, but why do you have a picture of that douchebag as your avatar? Back on-topic, I don't think I would go for those. It seems if you just stick them on, it doesn't do a whole lot. If you use them other ways, you're risking overdosing. Unless one really knows what he's doing, patches have always seem far too risky for me.
Use scissors? Ive never had the patches before so i dont know if the gel is sticky enough to come off and get stuck on the scissors. Or use an exacto knife. If i remember right, the patches i saw came in sections, and you just broke them apart and thats how you divided them. I dont know if that was one patch that you could break in to multiple pieces, or if it was all of the patches just linked together. Try not to be to eager to get more than a "buzz" of it. Or you'll fall out. Just be cautious.
God in my neck of the woods patches go for a buck/mcg !!! I'm glad I don't have to pay more than a couple of buck co-pay for mine!!!!!
