about 2ce - i have tripped on it about 20 times, usually at my apartment and going for a walk in the park nearby. i would suggest taking it in the afternoon or early evening as it lasts quite awhile. although that could be personal preference - i like to take most psychedelics around 2-4 in the afternoon so i can trip a little in the daylight and a little at night and go to bed at a somewhat reasonable time.

so i think your own house if it's "safe" is a good setting.
be sure to listen to music. probably go for a walk. i only like to take stuff at a show if i'm familiar with it. my first trips on 2ce were in the winter months, so i kind of associate 2ce with snow. see my TR on erowid (it was on HF 1st!)

for me, 2ce usually takes about 50 minutes for first alerts, and up to an hour and a half to really kick in. with only 10 mg it could take even longer. so you maybe could have waited longer...but oh well, a lot worse things have happened that a hit of LSD! i've been curious about that combo, but not enough to try it. i'm worried about tainting the LSD trip with anything else (besides weed)

 

Great trip report man! I really enjoyed reading that. I liked that you included some of the finer details of the mental aspects, felt like I could definitely relate.

About when I took the 2ce- we probably waited an hour and a half to decide that nothing was happening and to take the acid. I don't regret taking it but I probably would have had a better time just on the 2ce. The venue and show we were at just wasn't the right atmosphere for me and the combo really brought that out. I kept wanting to just sit down and chill, not be dancing at a concert. I usually don't take things at shows unless I'm familiar with it either, and this was my first time doing so. Live and learn I guess.

That was also the first time I've ever mixed anything with LSD, and the first time I've taken LSD on a whim. I usually don't even smoke weed when tripping, and if I do it's only on the come down. While I did have fun it's not something I plan to do again. Not to discourage anyone from trying the LSD/2ce combo though. I think it's just a personal preference; my friend really enjoyed the mix.

I am excited to try 2ce by itself, especially after reading your trip report. I probably will wait until spring though. I am gonna be taking acid tomorrow and like to space out my trips by at least a month.

Cool. I have only tripped inside on 2ce, last time I took a walk around the neighborhood coming up, but the rest inside with music and video. Since these things i've tried are new to me, I want to get a feel for them before I go out and venture. I had the strongest urge on the 4 aco last night to go out and explore. But it was cold and rainy.

 

i love going outside and exploring on psychedelics! it's about 15-20 degrees F and a blizzard outside, but i just dosed 36 mg 2cb and you can bet your ass i'll be frolicking around out there in a bit

 

More power to you! I'm tired of the cold but I feel like a whiner saying that... it doesn't even snow where I live. I'm looking forward to the warm weather and a few days vacation in a warm climate until then.

 

Tripping outside in my Canadian winter is fantastic. All of the snow crystals and patterns become kaleidoscopic and everything is just nuts. As long as you remember you coat gloves and hat, you're good.
