Im not sure if this is the place for this topic but who has squatted property? With empty properties everywhere is squatting a smart thing to do? Squatters have some legal rights in different states. I hate to see places sitting abondoned when so many could use them. Anyone have experience with this?

Some of it is reasonable. Property no one but the banks own, and they need a place to live. But if it's property someone owns, respect their ownership and don't squat.

I agree, respect the owners right to post their land because it is the law.

I do see how ridiculous and absurd it is for humans to "own" a small section of earth like it was a god given right. The earth will outlive their papers and humans declaration of ownership.

It bothered me for a long time, but on the other hand certain properties belonging to the US government IMO should belong to the citizens as well and it does.

I've been considering staking a mining claim, which will give certain rights such as squatting legal.
