Hello! I am trying to learn Korean, I love listening to Kpop and watching Korean television. I would like to visit Seoul one day, that's pretty much one of my ultimate life goals, hah! I'm currently trying to learn all of the Hangul characters, I have most of them down except some of the double vowels. I would like to be able to read hangul at a decent pace. If anyone could help me with whatever questions I have, or if anyone has any resources that they would like to share, I would greatly appreciate it!

I would be interested in this, too. I have a Korean boyfriend and have just started to learn, I am finding it easier than Chinese which I have studied previously, but a good programe to use or website would be appreciated, I am using Rosetta Stone right now, which just seems to yell random vocabulary or incorrect (according to my boyfriend!) sentences out, for you to repeat or remember. Not the best way to learn a language for sure.

I've been working on learning it shortly after getting into Kpop. (2009) I am studying it more seriously now, but it's a slow process. I have a Korean boyfriend too, but he's adopted, and lives in the U.S. He doesn't know any Korean, except for what people teach him, which is not always correct.

This site's good for typing Korean, if you're using a comp that doesn't have a language pack for it.

And I ask this person anytime I really need to know something (requests are always accepted)

For me Sogang Korean textbooks and workbooks worked great. I lived for some years in Korea and had many books but liked this one the most. Good luck!
