i never got anything infected before. i got my ears stretched on friday, and my right one really really hurt gettin done.. and the left one didnt really.

i didn't stretch them like huuuge or anything, they were 10mm, now theyre 12mm. and its not like i was impatient and stretched them too soon or anything, i've waited months!

and now my right one is bleeding?with that horrible stuff coming out of it.

i suppose all i can do is keep cleaning it ..

i just wanted to rant.. ugghh.

Are you wearing a plug, a ring, or what? SSS = sea salt soaks... I agree, they are the best thing for a healing or ailing piercing.

Soak 3-5 times a day with 1/4 tsp sea salt to 8oz warm water, hold your ear in the cup until the water becomes cool. Rinse with clean water afterward. Other than that, clean it once or twice a day with unscented dye-free antimicrobial soap, don't touch or play with it unless you are cleaning it, always wash your hands before you clean it, keep clean pillows, yadda yadda, you know the rest. Good luck :D

i just have like a tunnel in it. oh hahaha, i thought sss was the 'sss' my boyfriend uses.. its not nice, so i was confused

i have bpa, its what he recommends, its a natural oil, http://www.theaftercarecompany.com/BPAAftercare.aspx [IMG]

but il try the salt soaking too! just to be extra safe. it wasnt as bad this morning, and the swelling has gone down a little!!

    thanks :)

It'll get there, just do those SSS's..sss.s..s.s.. lol... you'll swear by them after you see how well they work, and the warm water makes the ouchies feel soooooo soothed. Basically, if there's anything sea salt can't fix, it needs to be amputated anyway.

I got 2 piercings at the top of my ear and they got infected and swelled up, but rather than remove them i kept them in for like 2 months not being able to sleep on that side of my head and eventually they were so swollen there was no indent at the top of my ear it was like a flat surface. it was so swollen when I actually took the ball out of the ring to take it off, the gap in the piercing wasn't wide enough to come off my ear so I had to use pliers. fucking gross.

    How are they now?
Did you stretch straight from 10 to 12 mm?

Can you unstretch ears? I mean do they go back to normal if you leave them like piercings do?

till a certain extent. i think you can go up to 8mm and they can still shrink back to normal :)
