This past summer at the Rainbow Gathering in New Mexico, I met a cool hippie chick who turned me on to a promo copy of a book that blew my mind, and still does. It somehow seems fitting to have come into this awakening in N.M., because there’s such a strong indigenous presence there.
I ingested this literary sunburst in about an hours time, and was transported into an ancient pre-historic world…not of the Hopi or Lakota…but of my own European ancestors, far back down the genetic ladder into a post-Neolithic eden on 7 islands off the coast of Africa. These cave-dwelling Caucasians were living in the Stone-Age even during the European Renaissance, in a female-friendly pyramid building tribal culture, a few thousand years removed from civilization, as it existed then.
“The White Indians of Nivaria” by Gordon Kennedy, is about the Guanche Indians, the very last Indo-European tribes to live in the Stone-Age, all the while mummifying their ancestors and preserving their ancient religion.
After reading this I believe I have finally found the missing link to my own indigenous past...a historical connection into a spiritual lineage, somewhere beyond the western edge of my dreams, on some tropical Atlantic island paradise inhabited by the children of my ancestors. "The White Indians of Nivaria" is a piece of hard anthropological science that reads like an enchanted primal vision. The problem is I can’t find it available anywhere. The author has a You Tube:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W77t3vzS5qA&feature=player_embedded"]YouTube- White Indians of Nivaria; The Untold Story of the Last Stone-Age Indo-European Tribes
And he even has a web site up at:
www.whiteindians.com and I guess he must be selling it now but I can’t find it on Amazon and such. I’m guessing this is the same guy who published the proto-hippie cult book: “Children of the Sun” that has a historical review with it on this Hip-planet site: http://www.hippy.com/php/article.php?sid=243
Anyway I’m still learning about who I am and where my people came from, their original religion and such, and this book is the latest awakening for me, and a powerful hippie vibe…

Too bad more hippies and Rainbows are not on to this tribe. It is one of the most unusual stories I have ever encountered, and it really could serve as a map to the future if more folks paid attention. A bombshell politically, and it does appear to be true, though unbelievably ignored through time.
