Hello, I'm going to need 5 flower pots for some plants I'm growing, and as they will grow for a long time I want their homes to look amazing. So if anyone has an artistic talent (especially for painting clay pots) please let me know. I'm not looking for solid colors or stripes, more artistic and creative with most of the influence from you (the artist) but I will have a few guidelines. Will discuss specifics and payment later.

    Thanks!

(I hope this is the right forum)

You may want to look on line for pots that already are decorated.

but if they were already painted, then they wouldn't have what I want on them. I'd do it myself, but sadly I do not have a single artistic gene in my body...

Why don't you just find a local artist in your area? Online pot painting seems a bit extreme.

Not to hijack the thread, but is online pot painting anything like online pot smoking?

What are you looking to put on the pot?

Yeah dude just paint a bright background one color and a simple pattern with another color over it and it will look sweet. It's not hard.

But that's not what I want on the pot.

When you go to buy a house, if you were told to just go buy a trailer and put a "home sweet home" mat outside, you'd be pissed and say "no".

If I wanted a solid colored pot with a few patterns I'd do it myself or buy one of 10,000 pre-made pots like that.

I don't know many local artists, figured I'd check here first. It's not as ridiculous as it sounds just think about it before you ridicule me.

People order regular and painted pots of websites and other places all the time, I'd just have someone purchase the pots with the correct specifications (of course I'd reimburse them) and then send the finished pots to me, not really that difficult.

Gotcha. Well yeah, what exactly do you want on it? A landscape or something?

I'd prefer to just save that discussion for once I find someone willing to paint the pots as it would be more of a discussion with my ideas of what I'd like put on the pot and what their "artisticness" thinks about it and would like to paint, like I said in the OP a lot of what will be painted will be left up to artist.

I would potentially be open to this. Maybe just a couple instead of all 5 though. But I would need to know more about what your ideas are first before making any sort of commitment.

Alright, do you have e-mail or anything so we won't clog up the forum with our discussion, I'd download AIM if you had that, or I think I have skype on my computer.
A few are definately better than none, so I would take you up on your offer if it works out :)

Email yes but you "have chosen not to receive private messages". Why don't you message me your email and I will contact you through mine, or fix your message settings.

I think I can message once I get to 20 posts, which is now, so I will try it again, if not I'll just edit this message with my e-mail.

    EDIT removed e-mail address

Overload; I e-mailed you a few days ago, and never heard back, was just curious what your thoughts on my e-mail were? I'm not sure if you were just curious of what I was looking for or what, but I never heard back from you so I figured I'd put a message here.
